Being the president has it’s risks. But Biden never expected something like this to happen.
And the Secret Service is on full alert after this threat on Joe Biden’s life.
Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, has been a place where he can retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of Washington, D.C.
But after a civilian plane invaded restricted airspace over his home on Saturday, October 28, the last thing the president could do was relax.
Immediately, United States fighter jets were called upon to enter the scene in case the plane were to launch an attack on the Biden residence.
“Shortly after 2 p.m., a civilian aircraft violated restricted airspace north of Wilmington, Delaware,” said Anthony Guglielmi, the Secret Service Chief of Communications.
“As a precaution, assets were scrambled to intercept and the civilian aircraft safely landed at a nearby airport.”
Guiglielmi also added that the Secret Service is “investigating in coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration.”
The president’s schedule was not impacted and he was able to go to church that evening after the events transpired, according to Politico.
This isn’t the first time the Biden administration has had a scare involving a plane.
Back in September, the U.S. military was looking for an F-25 fighter jet that had crashed in South Carolina after the pilot ejected.
Republicans rightfully criticized Biden’s administration for the giant mishap.
Is it any wonder the Pentagon can’t pass an audit?
“Sir (or ma’am), where is the F-35?”

Notably, Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) posted on X (formerly Twitter), “How on earth did the Biden Administration lose track of an $80 million F-35 jet? What else are they losing?”

The government eventually found the plane, but it took two days to do so.
So the idea of another plane being involved under the Biden administration’s watch, is concerning.
Thankfully the civillian plane didn’t have any intentions to do harm to the president, but imagine if it were a legitimate threat instead.
Hopefully the U.S. government under Biden’s watch will be more vigilant moving forward.
