The Left doesn’t care too much for following the rules. Especially if it gets in the way of their agenda.
And now a top Democrat was caught on camera committing a despicable crime.
Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) threw emergency warning signs to the ground before pulling a House office building fire alarm in September, as Breitbart News exclusively reported the day of the incident.
The video, obtained first by Kevin Frey of Spectrum News NY1, shows Bowman leave the scene without even attempting to enter the door.

Bowman had previously stated that he pulled the Cannon House Office Building alarm hoping it would unlock the door, claiming that he was attempting to vote in the Capitol before it closed.
“I don't know why this has gotten so much attention. I was literally just in a rush to go vote, man! That's all it was!”

Republicans, on the other hand, claim Bowman intended to shut down the Capitol and postpone the vote, giving Senate negotiators more time to craft a government budget plan more acceptable to Democrats.
“I don’t know why this has gotten so much attention,” said Bowman at the time.
“I was literally just in a rush to go vote, man! That’s all it was!”
The footage plainly contradicts Bowman’s story, with Bowman never attempting to open the door after pulling the alarm, instead fleeing the scene.
According to Breitbart News sources, Bowman jumped down a flight of stairs and exited the building through another door.
Bowman was charged with a misdemeanor by the D.C. Attorney General (AG) on Wednesday for pulling the alarm.
The maximum prison sentence for the crime was six months.
Later that day, Bowman and the AG agreed that Bowman could avoid jail time and have his conviction withdrawn in three months by just paying a $1,000 fine and writing a formal apology letter to the U.S. Capitol Police.

As always, Democrats are given a slap on the wrist.
Imagine if this was conservative. It would have been called an “assault on Democracy.”
Maybe even “the worst attack on the Capitol since the war of 1812.”
We would’ve never heard the end of it. But since there is a “D” next to Bowman’s name, he gets squat.
