The Democrats have made a serious miscalculation. It threatens the future of their party.
And this report exposing the Democrat Party’s massive mistake has raised everyone’s eyebrows.
No matter how you frame politics in America in 2024, there’s no denying that the Democrat Party has become the most radical, major political party by far. They have skewed so far left, they make Democrats from the 1970s through the 2000s seem like they belong on the far-Right today.
Democrats today won’t even say that illegal immigration needs to come to a full stop immediately. Just that statement alone will get them in trouble with their far-Leftist, Marxist base that they’ve been courting and fostering for the past fifteen years.
It’s almost a contest for Democrats today to see who can be the most radical in their so-called “progressive” beliefs that include breaking down gender roles entirely to the point where there is no longer man or woman, complete government control and censorship of speech that is deemed “hateful”, the eradication of safe and useful fossil fuel industries in favor of socialist schemes disguised as “green energy” efforts, and much more.
Of course the vast majority of Americans don’t want to play along with this radicalism game. Most Americans believe the gender nonsense has gone way too far, that gas cars are still important for society, and that illegal immigration should be brought to an end as soon as possible. These are not controversial statements for the average American anywhere in the nation from Oregon to Florida.
Another example of a widely accepted belief amongst most Americans is that Israel has every right to defend itself against Hamas after Hamas terrorists attacked on October 7th. But, of course, the Democrat Party has complicated this issue as well.
Many Democrats have no idea what to do with this issue because they can’t give their support to Israel without immediately distancing their voting base that is so important to Democrat Party posterity. But they’ve boxed themselves in and now Democrats are having to choose radicalism over rationality on these issues, including the Middle East conflict.
A prime example of this is in a new report that’s come out of New York’s 16th Congressional district that Democrat U.S. House of Representative Jamaal Bowman currently represents. He’s also seeking another term in the Congressional lower chamber, but that’s not looking so good for him.
According to a new election report, Bowman’s top challenger in the Democrat primary, George Latimer, is leading Bowman by almost twenty points in the polls with the Democrat primary just about two months away for that district. Latimer is the 9th County Executive of Westchester County and has also been a member of the New York Senate chamber. He’s been a mainstay of New York politics for a while for the Democrats.
According to the Mellman Group’s latest survey of the district’s likely voters, George Latimer was up over incumbent Jamaal Bowman by the tune of seventeen points. 52% for Latimer to just 35% for Bowman. That’s a major gap with just a couple months before district voters decide who they want to be the Democrat nominee to be on the ballot in November.
What’s so notable about this? Well George Latimer is extremely pro-Israel. It’s one of the biggest issues he’s raising in his effort to knock out Bowman from Congress and install himself as the New York U.S. Representative instead.
The organization behind the survey reported on the results with this to say about Bowman:
On Israel issues, the data are clear – Congressman Bowman is out of touch with his constituents…
There’s been plenty of other issues that make Bowman unpopular with Americans no doubt. His unprofessionalism in the House of Representatives in Congress has turned Americans off all over the country as he’s been in the news for childish moves such as pulling a fire alarm so he wouldn’t have to vote on an important bill coming up.
But usually, when candidates are strong on the issues, voters may look past these antics.
Not only that, but if the Israel issue was one on which Bowman was right and his constituents believed in his stance on the matter, then it’s highly unlikely that an outspoken, pro-Israel candidate like George Latimer would come along to become the leading candidate in the race.
Latimer’s cut through the nonsense on this issue and sounds a lot like a Republican conservative in his defense of Israel. He criticized the radicals who say they are pro-Palestine as if to mean that they are anti-Israel.
“There wasn’t a ‘let’s go get those b*stards’ kind of mindset,” Latimer said in a short interview at an airport during a trip to Israel. “The anger and fear is directed at Hamas as the terrorist organization that runs the country and that’s a differentiation you don’t often pick up.”
What’s funny is that these types of Democrats are being pushed out of the Democrat Party entirely! John Fetterman, the freshman Democrat U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, has been unwavering in his support of Israel. Yet, some of his own colleagues in Congress are calling for him to be kicked out of the party for daring to go against the grain of the radical “pro-Palestinian” narrative.
It’s extremely ironic that Democrats claim to be the party of diversity and yet they don’t even cherish the most important form of diversity, which is the diversity of ideas and values.
Plenty of Republicans disagree with each other on the Israel issue. That’s perfectly acceptable. Congress is supposed to debate the issues to hash out everything to come to rational legislation and resolutions. The Democrats just want homogenization and soldiers who will fall in line.
The Americans clearly don’t want that, though. Thus, you see “soldiers” like Bowman getting set up for an embarrassment come election time.
