President Biden has made a lot of dimwitted moves in his lifetime of politics. But this might take the cake.

As Joe Biden’s considering this truly moronic decision that is unbelievable.

President Biden’s foreign policy can be summed up in one word: weakness. At least, that’s the opinion of plenty of foreign policy experts that have been critical of the Biden administration’s handling of foreign affairs, especially since the disastrous Afghanistan pullout from back in 2021.

Who in their right mind leaves billions of dollars of military equipment, including attack helicopters, for terrorists taking over Afghanistan in the absence of an American presence? Joe Biden, apparently.

You can expect the Biden administration to approach every serious issue with softness and weakness that hasn’t been characterized of the White House since Jimmy Carter. Even Barack Obama was able to take a stronger stance on matters of national security.

If you thought the Biden administration’s foreign policy was bad up until now, just strap in for this latest report you’re about to read. It’s a doozy.

According to the outlet Bloomberg, the Biden administration is currently considering the possibility of removing the official designation of a “terrorist” group if said terrorist group simply stop being violent for a short period of time.

Apparently, this is in the name of “diplomacy.” Yes, that’s right, the Biden administration craves diplomacy with designated terrorists who are a threat to stable, free societies in the West.

Over recent months, the Iranian-backed Houthis, operating from Yemen, have carried out a series of missile and drone assaults targeting commercial shipping vessels and both U.S. and coalition forces in the Red Sea. This support for Hamas, another terrorist entity engaged in conflict with Israel, underscores their agenda.

Despite being designated as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) by the U.S., the Biden administration is open to considering removing the Houthis from this list if they cease their attacks in the region, as reported by Bloomberg.

A top Biden official, Tim Lenderking, said that the purpose is to find “diplomatic off-ramps,” with these known terrorist groups. Tim Lenderking is currently the special envoy for Yemen and shared these comments at a press conference this week.

“My hope is that we can find diplomatic off-ramps,” Tim Lenderking shared with reporters. “To find ways to deescalate and allow us to pull back, eventually, the designation and of course to end the military strikes on Houthis’ military capability,” he added.

During President Joe Biden’s administration, there has been a fluctuation in the stance toward the Houthis. Shortly after Biden assumed office in 2021, the Houthis were removed from U.S. terrorist designation lists due to concerns about potential humanitarian repercussions on Yemen.

However, in January, the Biden administration reinstated the Houthis on the SDGT list following a series of attacks on Western vessels in the Red Sea. Notably, they were not reclassified as a Designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO).

Lenderking’s recent remarks suggest a potential diplomatic strategy to resolve conflicts with the Houthis by considering their removal from the SDGT list once again. Acknowledging the failure of defensive military approaches in the Red Sea to deter Houthi attacks, the Biden administration appears inclined towards a diplomatic resolution.

Despite other Iranian-backed terrorist groups in the Middle East complying with Tehran’s directives to cease attacks, the Houthis persisted. While they receive support from Iran, the group operates relatively independently within Iran’s network of terror proxies.

Regarding speculation about a potential quid pro quo between halting Red Sea attacks and delisting from the SDGT, Lenderking emphasized caution, stating that any decision would be subject to careful consideration rather than being automatic.

Informed Americans know that the Houthis are obviously a terrorist group that shouldn’t be negotiated with under any circumstances. Negotiating with terrorists used to be something U.S. residents had zero tolerance for, but not anymore under Joe Biden’s admin.
