And now a leftist billionaire breaks ranks and joins Trump in a shocking act of betrayal.
Joe Biden’s radicalism has become too much for even some normally Democratic people.
And it’s finally causing a mass exodus.
Bill Ackman, a billionaire hedge fund manager, is allegedly leaning toward supporting former President Donald Trump over President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential race.
According to the Financial Times, Ackman, who has previously given substantially to Democrats, will likely embrace Trump on X (formerly Twitter) in the near future.
Those close to Ackman told the publication that his “dislike for Biden far outweighed his ambivalence toward Trump.”
Ackman, 58, expressed his support for Trump after the jury reached a guilty judgment on Thursday in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office’s highly contentious criminal case against Trump, which top legal experts have called simply political.
He responded to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ reaction to the verdict in the case, posting on X, “I think any objective person would have to agree with @GovRonDeSantis here.”

“Today’s verdict represents the culmination of a legal process that has been bent to the political will of the actors involved: a leftist prosecutor, a partisan judge and a jury reflective of one of the most liberal enclaves in America—all in an effort to ‘get’ Donald Trump,” said Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who was Trump’s top challenger during the Republican Party primaries earlier this year.
“That this case—involving alleged misdemeanor business records violations from nearly a decade ago—was even brought is a testament to the political debasement of the justice system in places like New York City,” he continued.
“This is especially true considering this same district attorney routinely excuses criminal conduct in a way that has endangered law-abiding citizens in his jurisdiction.”
“It is often said that no one is above the law, but it is also true that no one is below the law. If the defendant were not Donald Trump, this case would never have been brought, the judge would have never issued similar rulings, and the jury would have never returned a guilty verdict,” he concluded.
“In America, the rule of law should be applied in a dispassionate, even-handed manner, not become captive to the political agenda of some kangaroo court.”
He points out a fundamental truth about the nature of all of these cases brought against Trump.
It’s not that they’ve tried to convict him of anything – plenty of politicians and public personas are in and out of court for frivolous suits.
It’s that they are trying desperately to influence an election through the brute force of countless legal cases.
You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see the political maneuver they’re pulling, and a lot of people are just plain sick of it.
