Biden has been pretending that under him the world has become a safer place. That is a bald-faced lie.

And Joe Biden is planning for all out war in a shocking about face.

American-made F-16s set to be shipped to Ukraine will come with a substantial increase in firepower as the Biden administration agreed to arm these fighter jets with advanced U.S.-made weaponry, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on Tuesday.

Ukraine is expected to receive dozens of U.S.-manufactured F-16s as Denmark and the Netherlands, both NATO members, prepare to ship the fighter jets this summer.

Additional F-16s from NATO countries Belgium and Norway are also expected to be sent to Ukraine later.

A senior U.S. official disclosed that Ukraine’s shipment of F-16s will be equipped with advanced air-to-air missiles, air-to-ground munitions, and precision-guidance kits for bombs, according to the WSJ.

“We are confident that we will be able to supply all of those [weapons], at least the critical volumes that they need,” the official stated.

Maj. Gen. Rolf Folland, chief of the Royal Norwegian Air Force, praised the decision, saying, “The aircraft itself is worthless without the weapons.”

This move by the Biden administration to send more weapons to Ukraine comes at a time when the Pentagon is grappling with limited inventory and production capacity, as reported by the WSJ.

Meanwhile, European countries and the U.S. have been rushing to train Ukrainian pilots to operate the F-16s, with the Biden administration considering expanding the use of American military facilities for this purpose.

U.S. officials are hopeful that F-16s could significantly aid Ukraine’s forces in targeting ground threats on the war’s front lines.

As the Ukraine-Russia war nears the 30-month mark, Ukraine continues to struggle against advancing Russian forces.

The U.S. has taken the lead in providing military aid to Ukraine, with another $1.7 billion package announced by American leaders on Monday.

This package primarily focuses on long-term contracts through the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative but also includes $200 million in immediate military aid taken from Pentagon stockpiles, according to the Associated Press.

Last month, President Joe Biden signed a 10-year military assistance agreement with Ukraine, as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky seeks NATO membership.

The agreement does not specify an exact dollar amount the U.S. must send to Ukraine and doesn’t obligate American troops to defend the country, according to The Washington Post.

However, officials have stated that the deal ensures high-level consultations between the U.S. and Kyiv within 24 hours if Ukraine faces another attack.

“We want to demonstrate that the U.S. supports the people of Ukraine, that we stand with them, and that we’ll continue to help address their security needs not just tomorrow but out into the future,” National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said in June.
