Trump’s life is getting more dangerous by the day. Now foreign governments are after him.

And this Chinese infiltrator just put Donald Trump in the crosshairs again.

A Chinese national was apprehended after allegedly making multiple attempts to breach former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach.

Zijie Li, 38, of El Monte, California, claimed he had documents linking his home country’s government to the July 13 assassination attempt on Trump during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, as reported by the Palm Beach Post.

The would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, was neutralized by Secret Service agents after his bullets grazed Trump’s ear, narrowly missing his skull, and struck three of his supporters, tragically killing former Buffalo Township Fire Chief Corey Comperatore.

In response to the assassination attempt, the Secret Service ramped up security measures around Trump’s properties, including Mar-a-Lago.

This heightened vigilance led to the closure of South Ocean Boulevard next to the estate, effective July 20, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Li first attempted to enter Mar-a-Lago on July 19, approaching the main entrance in a gray Toyota Prius.

He reportedly told Secret Service agents that he had evidence of China’s involvement in the assassination attempt, as detailed in an arrest report obtained by the Palm Beach Post.

At the time, Trump was attending the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Agents informed Li that he was trespassing and issued him a written warning, prohibiting him from returning to the property.

Li ignored these warnings and reappeared in Palm Beach on July 22. Security footage showed him repeatedly crossing the Royal Park Bridge in his vehicle.

On July 30, he was seen driving towards Mar-a-Lago’s security checkpoint, where police noticed Mar-a-Lago’s address on his GPS.

Li left town but returned within an hour, prompting Palm Beach Police and Secret Service agents to stop him again. Despite repeated warnings, Li continued his attempts to gain entry to the property, leading to his arrest at an intersection north of Mar-a-Lago.

Trump was not present during Li’s arrest, but is expected to return to Mar-a-Lago this weekend, according to a Federal Aviation Administration notice.

Temporary flight restrictions will be in place from 7:45 p.m. Saturday through 10:45 p.m. August 9 for “VIP movement,” with Mar-a-Lago as the central point.

This incident is not isolated.

In 2019, a 32-year-old Chinese woman was arrested after the Secret Service said she lied to gain entry to Mar-a-Lago, claiming she wanted to discuss economic relations between China and the United States with Trump.

Court records indicate that Li used a Mandarin translator during his court appearance, and the judge issued a no-contact order prohibiting him from contacting Trump, anyone associated with him or his campaign, and from returning to Mar-a-Lago.
