The American people are rejecting the Radical Left. And we will not allow them to keep destroying our country.
And now, liberal lawmakers have been dealt a massive blow in a recent election debacle.
In a significant blow to the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, Representative Cori Bush, a member of the so-called “Squad,” has lost her primary for Missouri’s 1st Congressional District.
The defeat was confirmed by Decision Desk HQ, which projected that St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell won with over 54 percent of the vote.

This outcome signals a growing rejection of the radical agenda championed by Bush and her allies.
Bush, who rose to prominence during the race riots in St. Louis, was elected on a platform of radical progressive policies. However, her tenure has been marked by controversy and divisive rhetoric. Her loss in the primary, following closely on the heels of fellow Squad member Rep. Jamaal Bowman’s (D-NY) defeat earlier this year, suggests that American voters are growing increasingly weary of the extreme leftist agenda.
One of the significant factors in Bush’s defeat was the substantial financial backing for her opponent from pro-Israel groups. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and its super PAC, the United Democracy Project (UDP), invested approximately $9 million to unseat Bush.
This came in response to her inflammatory comments that many interpreted as supportive of Hamas terrorists following the October 7 massacre of over 1,200 Israeli civilians by Hamas and the kidnapping of over 250 more.
Bush’s refusal to label Hamas a terrorist organization and her false characterization of Israel’s retaliatory actions as an “ethnic cleansing campaign” only intensified the opposition against her.
In her concession speech, Bush doubled down on her stance, stating, “We will keep supporting a free Palestine,” to cheers from her supporters.
This radical position, along with her labeling of pro-Israel groups as “racist,” alienated many voters and showcased her disconnect from mainstream American views.
Bush has also been a vocal advocate for the defund the police movement, a stance that has proven increasingly unpopular as crime rates have risen in many cities. Her calls to defund law enforcement while spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on private security for herself have drawn sharp criticism and accusations of hypocrisy. This double standard undermined her credibility and further fueled the opposition to her re-election.
Moreover, Bush is currently under investigation by the Department of Justice for alleged misuse of federal funds for private security. This investigation has cast a shadow over her campaign and contributed to her defeat.
Bush’s loss is not just a personal defeat but a broader rejection of the radical policies promoted by the Squad.
The American people have shown that they do not support the extreme positions on defunding the police, unconditional support for Palestinian groups at the expense of Israel, or the divisive rhetoric often employed by Bush and her allies.
Her reference to herself as a “birthing person” during congressional testimony on maternal mortality rates is another example of the progressive left’s focus on identity politics over substantive policy solutions. This language, meant to be “inclusive”, comes across as radical, offensive, and out of touch with the concerns of everyday Americans.
The defeat of Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman represents a critical moment for the Democratic Party. It is a clear signal that voters are rejecting the extreme leftist agenda and are yearning for practical solutions to the nation’s problems.
The success of Wesley Bell, who ran on a more moderate platform, suggests that there is still room for reasoned debate and sensible policies within the Democratic Party.
For Republicans and conservatives, this shift is a positive development. It indicates that the American electorate is looking for stability, security, and practical governance over radical change. The focus on law and order, economic growth, and strong support for allies like Israel resonates more with voters than the divisive and radical policies of the Squad.
The defeat of Cori Bush in Missouri’s 1st Congressional District primary is a significant setback for the radical left and a victory for those who believe in a more balanced and pragmatic approach to governance.
As the American people continue to reject the extreme positions of the Squad, it is imperative for both parties to focus on policies that address the real concerns of voters, prioritizing security, economic stability, and the preservation of American values.
