Pelosi cannot stand the former president. She has a clear case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

But Donald Trump’s campaign has fired back at Nancy Pelosi for making this unhinged statement.

Nancy Pelosi and Donald Trump have been political rivals ever since he won his first term in office back in 2016.

Pelosi views Trump as one of the worst things to happen in American politics.

And while her time in Congress has actually led to some abhorrent policies being administered in this country, she has the audacity to blame the former president for every problem that America has faced since he was inaugurated in 2017. That’s why Pelosi is willing to lob senseless attacks toward Donald Trump’s way anytime she gets the chance.

Pelosi Questions Trump’s Fitness for a Four-Year Term, Suggests Cognitive Decline

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently expressed doubts about Donald Trump’s ability to serve a full four-year term if re-elected as president.

During an appearance on MSNBC, Pelosi claimed that Trump’s mental acuity is in decline, saying his brain is “deteriorating” and warning voters of what they might be getting into by supporting him.

Speaking to MSNBC, Pelosi addressed Trump supporters directly, cautioning that they “have to know that he can’t last as president for four years with his brain deteriorating at the rate that it is… and they may be voting for President Vance, which would be a horrible thing for our country.”

Trump, who was injured earlier this year after being shot in the ear in an assassination attempt during a speech, also drew attention with a recent comment he made while campaigning in Pennsylvania. He joked, “to get me somebody would have to shoot through the fake news, and I don’t mind that so much.”

In her MSNBC interview, Pelosi oddly described Trump’s remark as “further indication of his cognitive degeneration.”

Pelosi also mentioned a prior instance where Trump had discussed a hypothetical scenario involving his choice between two morbid fates.

Trump once imagined being on a sinking electric boat and needing to choose between electrocution or being eaten by sharks, stating, “I’ll take electrocution every single time.”

Pelosi, who obviously doesn’t understand Trump’s use of humor during his speeches, suggested that this kind of musing showed “something’s very wrong there.”

Trump’s campaign responded sharply. In a statement to Fox News Digital, Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt criticized Pelosi’s remarks.

“The only thing deteriorating is Nancy Pelosi, who is a decrepit, washed up, corrupt politician who America can no longer stand,” Leavitt said.

“She should go back to the City of San Francisco, which she has totally destroyed, and never return.”

Pelosi has been a fixture in Congress since her first election in 1987. Her comments reflect ongoing tensions between the longtime political adversaries, with Pelosi and Trump frequently exchanging barbs as each asserts their vision for the country’s future.
