Democrats are throwing out insane ideas at this point. There’s no telling what they’ll pitch next.
And this Leftist congresswoman just proposed racist legislation that has heads spinning.
House Democrats Renew Push for Reparations Study Commission
In a renewed effort to address historical injustices, House Democrats have reintroduced legislation aimed at exploring ways to provide reparations to Black Americans who are descendants of enslaved people.
Leftist Representative Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts is leading the charge in Congress alongside Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey to advance H.R. 40, formally known as the Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans Act.
During a news conference, Pressley, who’s a member of the Squad, emphasized the importance of the bill, stating that “reparations are a necessary step in achieving justice.”
“We are in a moment of anti-Blackness on steroids and we refuse to be silent,” she declared. “We will not back down in our pursuit of racial justice.”
As the Trump Administration carries out its unprecedented onslaught of anti-Black policies, I’m joining colleagues in introducing #HR40Reparations.
An essential step toward repairing the harm of slavery and its aftermath.

The proposed legislation seeks to establish a federal commission responsible for examining the lingering effects of slavery and its aftermath. The commission would also be tasked with crafting tangible recommendations for reparations directed toward the descendants of enslaved Black Americans.
While reparations can take various forms, the general concept involves financial compensation or other means of redress for Black Americans impacted by slavery and discriminatory policies throughout U.S. history.
Democratic leaders in multiple states, including California, have floated reparations as a means of addressing systemic racial disparities in areas such as housing, education, and healthcare.
Despite strong advocacy, efforts to pass reparations-related legislation have rightfully faced significant hurdles.
Last August, two California bills aimed at providing reparations to the descendants of enslaved Black Americans failed to advance in the state legislature.
Supporters of the measures cited concerns that they would not gain the necessary backing and could ultimately be vetoed by Governor Gavin Newsom.
Booker’s office recently confirmed the reintroduction of the federal bill, which has garnered the support of 17 Democratic senators.
“We as a nation have not yet truly acknowledged and grappled with the ways slavery, racism, and white supremacy continue to disadvantage African Americans,” Booker stated.
“Commissioning a study to better understand where our country has fallen short will help lawmakers better address the racial disparities and inequalities that persist today as a result of generational injustices.”
Democrats can whine and moan all they want about Republicans and America being racist, but that kind of rhetoric does nothing to help people take them seriously.
If anything, their rhetoric is divisive and causes bitterness and resentment between black and white americans. But in all reality, Democrats and other slimy politicians profit mightily off deteriorating race relations in this country.
