Leftists are very tense right now. They can’t handle having little to no power in Congress right now.
And a Congressional hearing erupts into chaos after this Democrat explodes in anger.
A fiery confrontation unfolded on Tuesday during a House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe hearing, spotlighting the ongoing tension between biological fact and gender ideology in American politics. The clash ignited when Republican Rep. Keith Self of Texas addressed transgender Rep. Sarah McBride of Delaware—elected in November 2024 as the first transgender-identifying member of Congress—as “mister.” Democrat Rep. Bill Keating of Massachusetts exploded in response, slamming his fist and accusing Self of disrespecting a “duly-elected representative.”
The hearing, titled “Arms Control, International Security, & U.S. Assistance to Europe: Review and Reforms for the State Department,” screeched to a halt amid the uproar. Self, unfazed, opened by saying, “I will now recognize the representative from Delaware, Mr. McBride.” Keating immediately demanded a repeat of the introduction, probing Self’s intent. “Can you repeat your introduction please?” he pressed.
Self stood firm. “We’ve set the standard on the floor of the House…” he began, only to be cut off by Keating’s rising indignation. “What is that standard? Would you repeat what you just said when you introduced a duly-elected representative from the USA?! Please?” Keating insisted. Self calmly reiterated, “The representative from Delaware, Mr. McBride.”
That was the breaking point. “Mr. Chairman, have you no decency?” Keating shouted, his voice thick with frustration. “I’ve come to know you, but this is not decent.” As Self attempted to steer the hearing back on track—“We will continue this hearing”—Keating doubled down, vowing to walk out unless Self corrected himself. “You will not continue it with me unless you introduce a duly-elected representative the right way,” he declared. With no resolution in sight, Self adjourned the session.
🚨 BREAKING: Rep. Sarah McBride – a transgender – was just introduced as "Mr. McBride" and ALL H*LL BROKE LOOSE because he was "misgendered."
The Democratic member literally started POUNDING HIS FIST and YELLING, and the hearing was then ADJOURNED.

Afterward, Self took to X to affirm his stance, writing, “It is the policy of the United States to recognize two s*xes, male and female.” His words echoed a freshly minted executive order from President Donald Trump, signed on the first day of his second term.
Titled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government,” the order asserts that “these s*xes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality.” For Self and many Republicans, this isn’t just rhetoric—it’s a guiding principle.
The incident wasn’t McBride’s first brush with controversy. Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina recently pushed a measure to bar transgender-identifying males from women’s restrooms at the Capitol, a move that drew sharp attention to McBride’s presence.
Earlier, in February, Rep. Mary Miller of Illinois introduced McBride as “the gentleman from Delaware, Mr. McBride,” further signaling a pattern among GOP lawmakers who refuse to embrace McBride’s falsely claimed female identity.

Republicans Push Back Against Radical Gender Theory
This standoff reflects a deeper conviction among Republicans, who increasingly reject what they see as the radical Left’s obsession with gender fluidity. For many in the party, biological s*x is an unyielding truth, not a malleable concept to be reshaped by personal feelings or political pressure.
They argue that policies like Trump’s executive order protect clarity and fairness, especially in spaces like restrooms, sports, and official records where s*x distinctions have long held practical meaning.
The GOP’s stance often frames gender ideology as an overreach of progressive dogma, one that dismisses science for the sake of ideology. Figures like Self and Mace point to chromosomes and anatomy as the final word, not self-identification.
They contend that yielding to transgender demands risks eroding women’s rights—particularly in areas like athletics, where physical differences can’t be legislated away—and muddies the waters of legal and social order.
Critics of the Left’s approach, including many Republican voters, see it as a slippery slope. If gender becomes a free-for-all, they ask, what’s next?
They cheer leaders who, like Self, hold the line, viewing such moments as a stand against a cultural tide that threatens to wash away common sense. For them, the clash at the hearing wasn’t just a spat over pronouns—it was a battle for reality itself.
