The ladies of The View can’t stand the president. But this takes things a step too far.
Because a host of The View has issued a disturbing threat to Trump that has the White House panicking.
Whoopi Goldberg of The View Ignites a Call to Action Against Trump
On a lively Thursday episode of The View, co-host Whoopi Goldberg wrapped up the show with a spirited rallying cry for those opposing President Donald Trump. “Remember, the resistance is real. You’re not alone,” she assured the audience
Just a few weeks earlier, on the March 19 broadcast, Goldberg had issued a bold challenge to Americans everywhere. “People have to get out and you have to march. You have to start making noise. This is now coming back to us,” she declared, as reported by TV Insider.
She painted a vivid picture, likening the current push against Trump to the historic struggles for women’s rights and civil rights. “The only way people are going to hear how angry you are is if you get out there,” she pressed.
Goldberg didn’t stop there with her insane rant. “This is it. It’s now on us. We have to do it. You want to save your Social Security, you got to get up, and you got to start screaming because the only way they’re going to understand that you’re not going to put up with it is if you don’t put up with it,” she urged.
That same March 19 episode saw sparks fly as Goldberg’s co-hosts dove into a heated exchange over tensions within the Democratic Party, a moment that highlighted the passion simmering on the set.
Since Trump’s return to the White House for his second term, the women of The View have consistently fanned the flames of protest, encouraging viewers to take a stand.
Back in February, co-host Joy Behar took aim at Democratic strategist James Carville’s suggestion that Democrats should sit tight and “do nothing” in response to Trump and DOGE leader Elon Musk.
“I have lived long enough to see that people who do nothing empower the enemy,” Behar countered sharply. She championed a proactive approach:
“I believe that Americans, first of all, you can multitask. You can march, and you can do whatever and let them do what they’re doing. You can do both, and the main thing you can do is call your Republican senators and congresspeople and tell them that you’re not happy with what’s going on. You did not vote for this, what they’re doing right now.”
As Trump prepared to address Congress in March, Behar upped the ante, calling on Democratic lawmakers to stage a walkout during his speech as a show of defiance.
When the address concluded, Sunny Hostin didn’t hold back her disappointment that Democrats failed to follow through, especially after Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, was ejected for causing a stir.
“They should have stood with him in solidarity,” Hostin insisted on the March 5 episode. She pointed to a recent visit from White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who had appeared on the show the day before.
“We had Karine Jean-Pierre here on this show yesterday, and she said we have to have a sense of urgency as we move forward, and we cannot do it the way we have in the past. This is not normal. It is a five-alarm fire,” Hostin stressed, her words echoing the show’s irrational call to arms.
