People are dropping like flies from the Democrat Party. And Leftists are clueless as to what the solution is.

And this former Biden official just abandoned the Democrat Party in a shocking move that no one saw coming.

Karine Jean-Pierre, the former White House press secretary under President Joe Biden, sent shockwaves through political circles on Wednesday with a stunning announcement: she has abandoned the Democratic Party and is set to release a revealing book about her time in the “broken” Biden administration. Titled Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines, the book is slated for release on October 21, promising an unfiltered glimpse into the inner workings of a turbulent administration.

Jean-Pierre served as Biden’s chief spokeswoman for over two and a half years, navigating a high-pressure role as the first non-white and openly g*y White House press secretary. Her departure from the Democratic Party and the announcement of her book have sparked intense reactions, with some praising her boldness and others dismissing her as disloyal.

A Career of High Stakes

Jean-Pierre’s tenure was defined by her steadfast loyalty to Biden, even as she faced criticism for her handling of the press. She infamously defended the president’s mental sharpness, once claiming in 2022 that Biden mentioned the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) during an event because she was “top of mind.” In July, she doubled down, insisting Biden was “sharp as ever,” despite mounting public skepticism.

Her time in the White House wasn’t without internal drama. In late 2023, then-White House communications chief Anita Dunn, backed by Chief of Staff Jeff Zients, reportedly pushed for Jean-Pierre’s exit.

This was allegedly because of her struggles to articulate policy positions fluidly. Critics within the administration described her as unprepared, often relying heavily on pre-written notes during briefings. “She doesn’t have a grasp of the issues and doesn’t spend the time to learn,” one insider remarked at the time.

Yet Biden stood by her, and Jean-Pierre outlasted Dunn, who left the administration following Biden’s faltering debate performance against President Trump on June 27. That debate sparked a Democratic revolt, ultimately leading Biden to abandon his re-election bid.

Inside Jean-Pierre’s Upcoming Book

Jean-Pierre’s book, published by Hachette Book Group, is described as a “hard-hitting yet hopeful critique” of the political landscape. According to the publisher, it will detail the chaotic three weeks leading to Biden’s decision to step back from the 2024 race and explore the “betrayal by the Democratic Party” that influenced his choice.

The book also aims to resonate with the growing number of Americans identifying as politically independent, encouraging readers to prioritize personal convictions over party loyalty.

“Jean-Pierre didn’t come to her decision to be an Independent lightly,” Hachette’s promotional release notes, hinting that the book may target other figures in the administration beyond Biden himself. In an Instagram video posted Wednesday, Jean-Pierre teased the book’s themes, saying, “I think we need to stop thinking in boxes and think outside of our boxes, and not be so partisan … this book ‘Independent’, it’s about looking outside of boxes, not just always being in a partisan stance.”

A Polarizing Departure

Jean-Pierre’s announcement has drawn sharp criticism from some Democratic insiders. One prominent party source didn’t mince words, telling the New York Post: “What her publisher means to tell readers is that she is INCOMPETENT, not independent. Just incompetent. But we don’t need to read about it— we watched it.” The source went further, suggesting her book belongs “at the top of the Trump book-burn pile. Right next to Jake Tapper’s own toothless tome.”

Others, however, are intrigued. “I can’t look away,” one top Democrat admitted, signaling the book’s potential to stir debate.

Jean-Pierre’s final briefing in January also raised eyebrows. Described by some as a self-focused “good-bye party,” she reportedly declined to share the stage with National Security Council spokesman John Kirby, even as major news broke about a hostage release deal with Hamas. “She kinda marketed it as a celebration of her and her tenure and unfortunately that took precedence over huge breaking news,” a source lamented.
