The Democrat Party isn’t sending their best to Washington. This legislator proves that fact.
And a deranged Democrat congressmember lashes out at Donald Trump in a profane rant.
During an Instagram Live session on Saturday night, Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, unleashed an unhinged critique of President Donald Trump’s recent military actions against Iran, while surprising many by praising a Republican colleague, Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., for his efforts to curb the president’s authority.
Crockett, known for her radical Leftist voice, didn’t hold back in her roughly 20-minute video, accusing Trump of overstepping his bounds with strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. “So long story short, for those of you that are unaware, the mofo that resides in the White House has unilaterally, in my estimation, declared war,” she declared, using “mofo” as a pointed shorthand for a well-known expletive.
The Texas congresswoman joined a growing number of Democrats who argue Trump sidestepped Congress in ordering the strikes, a move they see as a disregard for constitutional checks and balances.
“We are living in a time in which there is someone who is occupying the White House who does not care about any rules, any norms, any laws, nor the Constitution,” Crockett stated. “And we cannot be a civilized country if there is no law and order.”
Trump’s team, however, insisted the strikes comply with the War Powers Act, a claim that has done little to quell the criticism from lawmakers like Crockett. In her video, she also took aim at Trump’s immigration policies, arguing that his focus on deporting undocumented immigrants distracts from the real dangers posed by his foreign policy decisions.
“I know that they may claim, ‘We law and order, blah blah blah. So go get the undocumented people and let’s try to ship them out,’” she said. “Let me tell you something – they are not the people that are putting us in harm’s way. It is him and his administration that is putting us in harm’s way.”
Crockett’s words extended to a rallying cry for her supporters, urging them to challenge Trump’s base directly. “I literally need you to wake them the f— up,” she said
In a surprising twist, Crockett singled out Massie for his work on a bipartisan resolution with Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., to limit Trump’s ability to escalate military actions against Iran.
“We need action now, and that is going to take a few Republicans, like, getting on the right page,” she stated. “And right now there’s only one Republican that I know I can count on for sure doing the right thing. And that’s going to be Thomas Massie.”
Massie, a skeptic of U.S. military overreach, told Fox News Digital he’s optimistic about the resolution’s chances, noting the slim Republican majority and Democrats’ renewed anti-war stance under a GOP president.
“I think it could [pass the House], because we have such a tight majority,” he said. The issue of foreign military involvement has long created unexpected alliances, as seen in last year’s bipartisan votes on emergency foreign aid, which drew support and opposition from both progressive and conservative lawmakers wary of overseas entanglements.
Trump’s strikes have split Republicans as well. While many GOP leaders and some pro-Israel Democrats backed the move, others, like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., voiced concerns on X, saying she supports Trump’s administration but disagrees with “bombing Iran and getting involved in a hot war that Israel started.”
Rep. Warren Davidson, R-Ohio, praised the “strength and precision” of the strikes but echoed Massie’s call for Congress to reclaim its war powers, telling Fox News Digital, “While President Trump has legal precedent on his side, the legal reality highlights how far we’ve drifted from the constitutional order.”
The White House, responding to Crockett’s remarks, let Fox News Digital to comments from Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who dismissed the congresswoman’s critique. “The last time I checked, Jasmine Crockett couldn’t dream of winning such a majority of the public as President Trump did,” Leavitt stated.
“And the America First movement, which President Trump has built, is filled of hardworking patriots, the forgotten men and women, business owners, law enforcement officers, nurses, and teachers.”
She invited Crockett to attend a Trump rally to witness his support firsthand. A White House official also told Fox News Digital, “The fact Jasmine Crockett is siding with Massie tells you everything you need to know about both of them!”
