And The View has launched a brutal attack on President Trump that has him pounding his fist with anger.

Ana Navarro Calls for Gloria Gaynor to Decline Kennedy Center Honor from President Trump

Ana Navarro, a co-host on The View, recently took to Instagram with a heartfelt plea to music legend Gloria Gaynor, urging her to reconsider accepting a Kennedy Center Honor from President Donald Trump. Navarro shared a fond memory of meeting Gaynor at a concert, where the “I Will Survive” singer gave her a keychain that played the iconic song.

“Let’s just say, during first Trump term, I pressed it til it ran out of batteries,” Navarro wrote, hinting at her vocal opposition to the president.

Her tone grew serious as she addressed Gaynor’s upcoming recognition at the 48th annual Kennedy Center Honors in December, where Trump will personally present the awards. “Yesterday, Trump announced he picked her to receive a Kennedy Center Honor, which he plans to host,” Navarro wrote.

“Look, the woman is a goddess and deserves all the flowers that come her way. But I wish she wouldn’t accept an award from the hands of a man who has attacked the rights and history of women, people of color and LGBTQ.”

She emphasized the deep connection between Gaynor’s anthem and the g*y community, adding, “The g*y community, in particular, helped turn her signature song into an anthem. Trump is a stain on the prestige and significance of the KCH. Don’t do it, Gloria!”

This year’s honorees include Gaynor, country icon George Strait, rock band KISS, actor Sylvester Stallone, and English performer Michael Crawford. A spokesperson for Gaynor expressed her gratitude, telling Fox News Digital that she was “beyond blessed and honored to be receiving this award.”

They added, “My hope is that in accepting this honor, I can continue with the inspirational phenomenon that began with ‘I Will Survive.’ Sharing my music and art on a global level to provide encouragement, hope, empowerment, inspiration, understanding, and unity is the core of my purpose.”

Gaynor’s team has not yet addressed Navarro’s comments publicly or responded to inquiries from Fox News Digital.

Trump’s Kennedy Center Overhaul

The awards ceremony comes in the wake of Trump’s sweeping changes to the Kennedy Center earlier this year.

In February, he replaced several board members, including the president and chairman, with loyalists who then named him chairman.

On Truth Social, Trump pledged to make the performing arts center “great again,” criticizing past programming like drag shows “targeting” children and promising a new cultural vision.

Backlash from the Arts Community

These moves triggered a wave of backlash in the entertainment world. High-profile figures such as showrunner Shonda Rhimes, singer Renée Fleming, and actress Issa Rae either stepped down from their Kennedy Center roles or canceled performances.

Navarro’s call to Gaynor adds yet another component to the hatred she has towards Donald Trump and his administration. This latest action proves that she’ll find anyway to attack President Trump.
