The former first lady is a constant complainer. It’s all she’s really done after leaving the White House.

And Michelle Obama threw a gigantic fit for this ridiculous reason.

Michelle Obama is back in the spotlight, moaning about the intense scrutiny she faced “as a black woman” during her time in the White House, all while pushing her latest book. At 61, she’s claiming she’s more confident than ever, with her husband finally “settled.” But let’s be real—this comes from someone who’s been the darling of the elite fashion crowd, gracing Vogue covers three times.

In her new book, The Look, Obama dives into how she used her outfits to send subtle messages, but she doesn’t hold back on the complaints about the pressure. “We were all too aware that as a first black couple, we couldn’t afford any missteps. And that as a black woman, I was under a particularly white hot glare,” she wrote, painting a picture of constant watchfulness.

She argues that her family didn’t get the same leeway others did in the political arena. “We didn’t get the grace that I think some other families have gotten,” Obama stated bluntly, suggesting a double standard at play.

The former first lady points out how errors could be weaponized in a hostile environment. “Making a mistake in a political environment where you’re the first and people are where your opponents are using your race as a fear-based strategy to make you seem like the other, then everything matters,” she told ABC News’ 20/20 during a chat with Robin Roberts.

Back in her White House era, Obama shied away from fashion talk, seeing it as a sideshow that pulled focus from her real efforts. She wanted folks to judge her on actions, not appearances.

Now, though, with her public image locked in, she’s ready to spill on her wardrobe picks, calling them a form of “soft power.”

“You know, style and fashion, and how we show up in the world is an important way that we send a message,” she stated. “What you’re wearing says something about what you care about. It speaks to your background, your culture. So, I really thought about what I wanted to say.”

Hovering in the background was her worry about disappointing the everyday moms and grandmas watching. She felt the weight of representing them properly.

“We live in a culture, sadly, where, you know, if somebody wants to go after a woman, the first thing they do is go after our looks, our size, our physical being, as a way to, you know, make us feel small, to keep us in place,” Obama said.

She also griped about big-name designers acting like they had dibs on dressing the first lady, which she saw as shutting out smaller players.

“So like anything else, that kind of attitude blocks out opportunities from other designers. So I thought about that,” she noted.

The book, co-written with her stylist, packs in pictures from her political days, breaking down why she chose to wear what she did.

Lately, Obama’s been making headlines for ditching key events, like Jimmy Carter’s funeral and Donald Trump’s inauguration, leaving Barack to fly solo.

She chalked up skipping Trump’s big day to outfit indecision, which sparked all sorts of talk about trouble in paradise for the power couple.

Both Obamas pushed back on those marriage rumors over the summer, insisting everything’s fine. Yet, in this latest round of interviews, she’s all about embracing her golden years with newfound freedom.

“You know, there’s something about the 60s. It is the best time of my life now that my daughters are launched and doing well,” the former first lady stated. “My husband’s settled. There’s a certain freedom that I feel I’m at that stage in life where I can say, ‘Yeah, maybe I know a few things.’”
