Unfortunately, political leaders are constantly hit with threats. But Vance didn’t see this coming.
And Vice President Vance was blindsided by death threats from the last person he expected.
A 67-year-old Grand Rapids nutcase named James Donald “JD” Vance Jr. – no relation to the actual Vice President – just got slapped with a two-year prison sentence for threatening to m*rder President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Elon Musk, and Donald Trump Jr.
The unhinged loser posted his death threats on the left-wing echo chamber BlueSky under the handle “Diaperjdv,” per the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Michigan.
This is the face of the modern Democrat base, folks. A bitter old man so consumed with rage that he fantasized about turning West Michigan into a k*ll zone the moment any MAGA heavyweight showed up.
On April 1, the creep wrote: “If tRump, Vance, or Musk ever come to my city again, they will leave it in a body bag.”
He then added, “I will either be shot by a secret service sniper or spend the rest of my life in prison. I’ve only got about 10 years of life left anyway so I don’t f—king care either way.”
That’s not “venting.” That’s not “blowing off steam.” That’s a direct terrorist threat from a guy ready to die trying to take out America’s leadership.
He also targeted Donald Trump Jr. in a March 7 post titled “Donald Trump Jr. Considering a Run for President in 2028.” His response? “I will m*rder that stupid f—ker before he gets secret service protection.”
The coward eventually pleaded guilty to two felonies: threatening the President and Vice President, plus interstate threatening communications, according to prosecutors.
U.S. Attorney Timothy VerHey stated: “When Vance said he planned to k*ll our President and the Vice President simply because he disagreed with them, he crossed a line we all understand and so had to be punished.”
This man isn’t even related to the real JD Vance (whose birth name was James David Bowman).
And he’s not alone. This is the second case out of the Secret Service’s Grand Rapids office in just weeks.
In October, another Michigan lunatic, Richard James Spring from Comstock Park, got 18 months for a threatening X post where he said he would s*xually assault a woman in front of President Trump, according to prosecutors. He also said he would then m*rder the president.
Spring also raged on TikTok, screaming, “You’re going to watch your god DIE.”
Special Agent in Charge William Shink made it clear: “Threats against our nation’s leaders and their families will not be tolerated. Individuals who threaten the President, Vice President or any U.S. Secret Service protectee will be investigated and held accountable for their actions.”
The Secret Service is doing its job and crushing these domestic terrorists before they act.
This is what Trump and Vance are up against every single day: deranged leftists who would rather m*rder patriots than accept election results.
Two years isn’t enough. But it’s a start. And every single one of these cowards needs to know: you threaten Trump, Vance, Musk, or any member of the MAGA family, you’re going to prison. Full stop.
