The U.S. could take down any nation on earth. It’s time we started acting like it.

And now Trump announced a huge military operation that put America’s enemies on the back-foot.

Escalating U.S. Offensive Against Venezuelan Narcotics Routes

President Trump’s administration is ramping up its aggressive campaign against drug smuggling from Venezuela, transitioning from successful maritime interdictions to impending ground-based operations.

This evolution comes after months of targeted strikes that have severely curtailed sea routes, forcing traffickers to adapt and highlighting the administration’s commitment to eradicating the flow of deadly substances into American communities.

From Ocean Strikes to Ground-Level Crackdowns

In a Thanksgiving video address delivered from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump connected with U.S. service members, praising their pivotal role in thwarting Venezuelan syndicates.

“In recent weeks, you’ve been working to deter Venezuelan drug traffickers, of which there are many,” he acknowledged.

He spotlighted the sharp decline in sea-based attempts, quipping, “Of course, there aren’t too many coming in by sea anymore. Have you probably noticed that?” Trump credited the efforts with halting about 85% of maritime shipments, declaring, “We’re already doing a lot… It’s about 85% stopped by sea.”

The U.S. has executed at least 21 lethal operations against suspect vessels in the Eastern Pacific and Caribbean since early September, alongside a nationwide sweep that netted around 3,200 cartel suspects in the last month alone.

Imminent Land Actions and Congressional Outreach

With traffickers pivoting away from vulnerable sea paths, Trump signaled an urgent expansion inland.

“You probably noticed that now people aren’t wanting to be delivering by sea, and we’ll be starting to stop them by land also. The land is easier, but that’s going to start very soon,” he announced.

Underscoring the stakes, he warned of the “poisons” devastating U.S. lives: “From sending their poisons into the United States, where they k*ll hundreds of thousands of people a year — but we’re going to take care of that situation.”

Earlier in late October, during a White House briefing on the arrests, Trump outlined plans to brief Congress on potential land strikes, telling Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, “I’d like to just tell you, ‘Let’s go.’ We’ll go. We’re going to tell them what we’re going to do, and I think they’re going to probably like it, except for the radical left lunatics.”

He added, “We’re going to go [to Congress]. I don’t see any loss in going — no reason not to,” and “You know they will always complain, ‘Oh, we should have gone.’ So we’re going to definitely.” This multifaceted strategy aims to dismantle networks tied to groups like Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua, ensuring no avenue remains unchecked.
