Tensions are heating up around the world. They don’t seem as though they’ll cool anytime soon.

And a leading Republican announced potential earth-shattering charges for this foreign leader.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is stepping up to deliver justice, announcing that his state is gearing up to slap Venezuelan tyrant Nicolás Maduro with serious charges.

DeSantis told Fox News host Jesse Watters that the office of Florida’s Attorney General is diving deep into the possibility of state-level prosecutions against the fallen socialist leader.

“I’ll also say that I know they indicted him in the Southern District of New York. We also have the right as a state to bring pertinent charges in state court, and we’re working on that,” DeSantis stated.

“Our attorney general is leading that effort. And you may see charges filed in a place like Miami or Doral, which we’re entitled to do,” he added.

DeSantis didn’t hold back on the celebrations erupting in places like Doral and Miami, where Venezuelans are finally tasting victory after years of suffering under Maduro’s iron fist.

He pointed out that this moment has been building for far too long, as the people reclaim hope from the ruins of a once-prosperous nation.

“Both Hugo Chávez and Maduro, they tanked the country of Venezuela, massive oil reserves, gold reserves, affluent country, and basically the Marxist takeover destroyed it and destroyed their society so that people were left to eat trash,” DeSantis declared.

“Millions and millions of people fled out of Venezuela. So this is being greeted very positively.”

Right now, Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, are locked up in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, staring down a barrage of narco-terrorism accusations tied to Maduro’s dirty dealings in a cocaine empire run straight through Venezuela’s military.

“He [Maduro] was obviously very involved with bringing drugs, particularly to Florida,” DeSantis stated during a press conference on Tuesday.

“You know what he would also do? And this is not in the federal indictment in New York — he would empty his prisons and send them to America across the border, and we’d end up with some of these people in Florida,” the governor revealed.

DeSantis teased more action with a cryptic social media post on Monday: “Stay tuned…,” keeping patriots on the edge of their seats as Florida prepares to strike back against foreign thugs who target our sovereignty.

Fresh details from a newly unsealed indictment paint an even uglier picture, naming Maduro’s son, Nicolás Maduro Guerra, and other regime insiders as key players in the drug-smuggling racket.

The document spells out how, back around 2017, Maduro Guerra orchestrated the shipment of “hundreds of kilograms” of cocaine from Venezuela straight to Miami, plotting with traffickers to flood our ports with this filth.

It gets worse: the indictment details discussions about peddling low-quality coke to New York when it couldn’t sell in Miami, setting up a 500-kilogram load to sneak into cargo containers near our shores, and even using scrap metal boxes to smuggle the drugs into New York harbors.

This isn’t just about one man’s downfall—it’s a wake-up call for America to crush the Marxist rot that breeds corruption, drugs, and mass migration.

DeSantis is leading the charge, showing what real leadership looks like in defending our borders and communities from globalist threats.

As Florida ramps up its pursuit, expect fireworks in the courts that could finally hold Maduro accountable for the havoc he unleashed, proving that states like Florida won’t tolerate invaders or their enablers any longer.
