Biden has been out of the spotlight for a few years now. But that’s all about to change.
Because Jill Biden just turned white as a ghost after receiving this earth-shattering news.
In a shocking turn of events that hits close to the heart of America’s political elite, William Stevenson, the former husband of Jill Biden, now finds himself facing first-degree m*rder charges in the death of his wife, Linda Stevenson.
The 77-year-old was taken into custody by New Castle County Police in Delaware, marking a grim chapter in a story tied to one of the nation’s most prominent families.
The arrest unfolded after a thorough probe into Linda’s untimely passing at their home in Wilmington’s Oak Hill neighborhood last December. Authorities built a solid case, working hand-in-hand with the Delaware Department of Justice, before presenting it to a grand jury that handed down the indictment.
Linda Stevenson, aged 64, was discovered lifeless on December 28, 2025, following a police response to a reported domestic altercation. Officers rushed in to find her unresponsive in the living room, desperately trying to revive her with emergency aid, but their attempts proved futile.
“Upon entering the home, officers located 64-year-old Linda Stevenson unresponsive in the living room. Officers immediately administered life-saving measures; however, despite their efforts, Linda Stevenson was later pronounced deceased,” per New Castle County Police.
With the cause of death still under wraps pending the autopsy results from the Delaware Division of Forensic Science, questions swirl around what exactly transpired in that home.
Stevenson remains locked up at the Howard Young Correctional Institution, unable to post the hefty $500,000 cash bail set for his release.
This tragedy casts a long shadow over Stevenson’s past, particularly his brief marriage to Jill Biden from 1970 to 1975.
According to The New York Times, the two crossed paths in 1969 during her days at the University of Delaware, a union that started with promise but ended in divorce.
“I truly believed we were destined for each other,” Biden stated in her memoir. “Looking back it may seem like a mistake of youth.”
By March 1975, Jill had encountered then-Senator Joe Biden, and just two months later, her marriage to Stevenson dissolved.
She tied the knot with Biden in June 1977, launching her into the spotlight of national politics.
Stevenson, meanwhile, carved out his own legacy as the founder of the iconic Stone Balloon Club in Newark, Delaware.
But now, that entrepreneurial spirit is overshadowed by these grave accusations. Linda’s obituary painted a picture of a devoted woman whose life ended far too soon, without any nod to the circumstances or her husband.
“Linda was deeply family-oriented and treasured time spent making memories, especially on family vacations with her daughter and granddaughter,” her obituary stated.
“She loved her work and truly cared for her clients, many of whom became friends.”
