Leftist late night host stabs this Democrat in the back live on air

Democrats are turning on each other. It’s not a pretty sight.

And a leftist late night host stabbed this Democrat in the back live on air.

In the wild world of late-night comedy, Stephen Colbert couldn’t resist taking a swing at House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries over his so-called “silent defiance” during President Trump’s State of the Union address. The liberal host turned it into a punchline, labeling it nothing more than “jack squat.”

Colbert unloaded his sarcasm on a live show right after the speech, zeroing in on Jeffries’ plea to his fellow Democrats to keep things quiet in the chamber. He painted the whole strategy as a weak attempt at rebellion.

“Which I believe is a bold rebrand of doing jack squat,” Colbert stated. “As Martin Luther King once said: ‘Shhh.’”

It’s no secret that the left loves to virtue-signal, but Jeffries’ plan exposed just how toothless their opposition can be. He laid out the choices for his caucus ahead of the big night, boiling it down to two lackluster paths.

“The two options that are in front of us in our House [are] to either attend with silent defiance or to not attend and send a message to Donald Trump in that fashion, which will include participation in a variety of different alternate programming that is going to take place in and around the Capitol complex,” he stated.

Even with that guidance, the Democrats couldn’t hold it together. Chaos erupted from their side, proving once again that unity isn’t their strong suit when Trump is in the spotlight.

One of the most blatant disruptions came from Rep. Al Green, who got himself booted from the chamber for waving a sign that screamed, “Black people aren’t apes.” It was a stunt aimed straight at the president.

Green didn’t hold back when explaining his antics to CNN afterward, doubling down on his accusation of racism against Trump.

“I wanted the president to see it, and he saw it, and I told him, Black people are not apes, and for him to do what he did was racist, and he knows it. But sometimes we have to let him know in the public that we know it,” Green said.

This kind of outburst plays right into the narrative that Democrats are more interested in theater than in real governance. While Trump was laying out his vision for America, these folks were busy grandstanding.

Then there was Rep. Ilhan Omar, who couldn’t resist shouting from her seat. Her interruptions cut through the air like a knife, accusing the president of grave wrongs.

Omar screamed, “You have k*lled Americans,” and followed it up with, “You should be ashamed of yourself.” It was pure venom, aimed at derailing the moment.

President Trump, never one to back down, fired right back at the hecklers. He called them out on the spot, exposing the unhinged side of the opposition.

“These people are crazy. I’m telling you, they’re crazy,” the president said.

In the end, episodes like this highlight why Americans are fed up with the endless drama from the left. While Trump focuses on making the country great, his critics resort to childish antics that achieve nothing but embarrassment.
