No one saw this coming. This was out of left field.
And Newsom fired off a completely unexpected defense of these Trump officials.
In the upscale enclaves of California, where limousine liberals preach equality while enjoying every perk of power, Jennifer Siebel Newsom has delivered another masterclass in absurdity.
The wife of Governor Gavin Newsom, who demands the title “First Partner of California,” rushed to the defense of two women booted from President Donald Trump’s cabinet. Her take? It’s all the fault of some shadowy patriarchy crushing conservative women.
Siebel Newsom framed the exits of former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and former Attorney General Pam Bondi as proof of a relentless assault on women.
She insisted the removals exposed deep flaws in how the Trump team operates. Never mind results or performance—according to her script, gender is the only factor that matters.
“Trust me, I’m not a fan of Pam Bondi nor Kristi Noem,” Newsom said.
“But I need to call out that it’s no surprise to me that the first two prominent people pushed out of this administration were women.”
She pressed further, painting a picture of conservative women as pawns in a grand scheme. These women, she argued, get pulled into the fold only if they toe a specific line that supposedly clamps down on female independence.
It’s a familiar tactic in her eyes, where loyalty to the man at the top buys temporary favor wrapped in glossy packaging.
“Let me explain. The conservative women that Trump handpicks, who align themselves with an agenda that controls women, restricting our rights, limiting our autonomy, and pushing us back into the straitjacket of femininity that is only in service of men, that’s a familiar pattern here,” Newsom stated.
“Women are brought in and packaged Mar-a-Lago-style and lifted up, as long as they commit to whole-heartedly serve the interests of the patriarch at the top.”
The California insider then dismissed any notion of genuine influence for these appointees. Positions near the president, she suggested, offer nothing but the illusion of clout. In her view, the entire setup lacks real strength or protection for the women involved.
From there, she turned her fire directly on Noem, Bondi, and others who back Trump’s agenda. These women, she charged, help undermine their own kind and will pay the price when the chips are down. Loyalty to the wrong side guarantees betrayal, or so the story goes.
In the end, this latest outburst reveals more about the accusers than the accused. When facts get in the way of the patriarchy myth, the left simply ignores them and doubles down.
Americans are moving forward with a leader who values strength over slogans, and no amount of coastal hand-wringing will change that.
