And a former Biden official just made a statement on live TV that will leave you completely stunned.
Democrats are at it again, playing the victim card the moment political violence erupts. On a recent episode of her show The Briefing, former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki could barely contain her frustration that anyone would dare criticize left-wing rhetoric when violence strikes.
Psaki claimed, “what I hear over and over again is Democrats saying, please tone it down, please tone down the rhetoric, that’s not what we stand for. And we have seen, frankly, from the other side, from Trump and others, elevated rhetoric.”
She went on to express how “infuriating” it is when an act of political violence or an attempted act occurs and Democrats immediately face blame for their words.
According to Psaki, her party spends its time urging calm while the real problem supposedly comes from conservatives and President Trump.
This kind of gaslighting has become routine on the left. Every time a conservative faces real threats or worse, establishment Democrats rush to lecture the country that their side bears no responsibility.
They insist they are the adults in the room, constantly calling for lowered voices, while painting Trump supporters as the dangerous ones whipping up anger.
The disconnect is staggering. For years, major Democratic figures and their allies in the media have described Trump as a literal threat to democracy, compared him to Hitler, and suggested that anyone supporting him is on the wrong side of history.
They have normalized extreme language that frames political opponents not as fellow Americans with different views, but as existential enemies who must be stopped at all costs.
Then, when the inevitable consequences of that poisonous atmosphere show up, they act shocked that anyone would connect the dots. Psaki’s complaint boils down to this: How dare you notice the pattern when our side gets called out?
The cold reality is that political violence has claimed lives on the right in shocking fashion. The assassination of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, stands as a grim reminder. A young conservative activist gunned down in cold blood while speaking to students on a college campus.
That was not some random crime. It was the m*rder of a man whose only “crime” was fighting for patriotic values and giving voice to millions of Americans tired of the radical left’s cultural dominance.
Yet even in the wake of such horror, too many on the left refuse to engage in honest self-examination. Instead, they pivot back to blaming Trump’s “elevated rhetoric” as if conservative pushback against open borders, economic decline, and endless cultural attacks is the true source of division.
Ordinary working people see through the act. They remember the summer of riots, the defense of “mostly peaceful” protests that burned cities, and the constant celebration of resistance against Trump and his voters.
They remember members of Congress talking about confronting conservatives in public.
None of that gets memory-holed just because Jen Psaki finds accountability “infuriating.”
