There’s a problem brewing for the Biden campaign. But the lid’s been blown.
Because a Fox News confession about Joe Biden has his campaign in a frenzy for answers.
While Joe Biden himself is nearly 82-years-old, he has been extremely reliant on young voters for political election success like many Democrats today. The youth vote (between 18 and 30-years-old) has been moving more heavily than ever into the direction of the Democrats than ever before.
To put it into perspective, Joe Biden beat Donald Trump to the tune of twenty six points amongst voters who were under 30-years-old and did not vote in the 2016 or 2018 election cycles. Those over 30-years-old who hadn’t voted in 2016 or 2018 were more evenly divided between Joe Biden and Trump.
The problem for Joe Biden is that the 2020 election was extremely close, so close that just extremely small shifts in voting behavior in a few states would’ve handed the election win to Donald Trump instead. These states were sure to be a major focus for Donald Trump this go round, and they have.
Former President Donald Trump has been making major gains with voting blocs that no one thought he would make inroads with. The Hispanic vote is no longer reliably Democrat, as some pollsters say Donald Trump may carry the majority amongst Hispanic voters in a stunning turn of events. While Donald Trump isn’t going to be carrying the black vote as a whole, he’s been siphoning off support from the Democrats that truly has the Democrat Party worried.
But now the youth vote is going to be giving Joe Biden and company an ulcer because the reports suggest that Donald Trump is also outperforming expectations with that key voting bloc in the surveys and polls ahead of the 2024 election. Not only that, But Joe Biden is bleeding support to third-party candidates.
Two young voters recently shared their decision to vote against Joe Biden in the 2024 election, attributing their shift to the political Right to concerns over “open borders” and cashless bail.
In the latest national head-to-head matchup, Biden trails former President Donald Trump by a narrow margin of 1%, according to the RealClearPolling average. This lead widens to 2.2% when independent candidates Cornel West and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as well as Green Party candidate Jill Stein, are factored in. Becky Oliveira and Grace Guentzel, the two young voters, explained how their previous immersion in Democrat and Left-wing culture began to change as they re-evaluated their beliefs.
Oliveira, from New York City, described her upbringing within a social media environment dominated by Left-wing narratives. “I grew up in the social media culture that was very dominated by left-wing propaganda, for lack of a better word, that was pushed to me through the algorithms, and I accepted it,” she told Fox and Friends co-host Lawrence Jones. “I accepted it wholeheartedly. I loved it. I was very into it, until I started to come out of it and realized that a lot of what I believed was very emotional and not really based in logic or fact.”
Oliveira’s shift in perspective crystallized around 2020, when she observed the impact of Democratic policies in her city. She expressed disillusionment with policies like cashless bail and the aftermath of the George Floyd protests. “Cashless bail, for one. The riots after the killing of George Floyd. Madison Avenue being completely decimated by these roving bands of rioters,” she recounted.
Similarly, Guentzel spoke of her initial alignment with Democrats and how independent research led her to reconsider her stance. “For me, it really came down to just looking at the nuance and doing my own research,” she said. Surrounded by Democrats, Guentzel’s views evolved as she engaged with a broader range of perspectives. “I feel like I surrounded myself with a lot of Democrats and was kind of in that culture, so it was normal for me, but I think once I started to do my research and understand the nuance, because I kind of saw things as very one-sided, but once I kind of got out of that … cycle and stopped only surrounding myself with one kind of people, I think I started kind of leaving the hole that I was in and … came more towards the right.”
As the 2024 election approaches, Biden is struggling to maintain support among black, Hispanic, and young voters. Oliveira has firmly decided to support Trump, while Guentzel remains undecided about her vote. “For me, I just know that I won’t be voting for Joe Biden because I know we can’t have another four years of open borders and things of that nature,” Guentzel stated.

Looking Forward to November
If Trump had managed to increase his share of the youth vote by just 5-10%, this could have swung enough votes in these tightly contested states to alter the overall Electoral College outcome in his favor back in the 2020 election.
Young voters turned out in relatively high numbers in 2020. According to the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE), the youth voter turnout was about 50%, significantly higher than in previous elections.
Looking at 2024, it appears there’s a very real sentiment amongst younger voters that they are apathetic to the Joe Biden campaign now that they’ve seen what four years of a Biden administration looks like.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has been diversifying his campaign road by even appearing at Generation Z events to reach out to them as much as possible. As we’ve noted, just the smallest of shifts would be devastating for Joe Biden and his Democrat lackeys.
