The inability to speak seems to be in the Biden blood. And Joe’s administration is the only thing losing from it.
And now Biden’s daughter had an appalling slip of the tongue that the White House can’t hide from.
The apple doesn’t fall far from its tree.
Ashley Biden, the first daughter, was teased on social media Wednesday for a verbal misstep during a White House Pride Month event, which many compared to President Biden’s periodic gaffes.
“Too many LGBTQ children grow up in homes that don’t accept them,” the 43-year-old social worker told the crowd gathered on the South Lawn of the White House, during a speech when she stood alongside her mother — first lady Jill Biden — and stressed the importance of children feeling “loved, accepted and supported.”
Ashley Biden stumbled over the well-known phrase used to denote s*xual orientations and gender identities about a quarter of the way through her four-minute speech.
The first daughter appeared to pronounce “LGBCT…,” before rapidly closing her eyes and recovering.
“LGBTQ students deserve to be safe at school, at home and in their communities. Period,” she self-corrected.
Republicans and X users were quick to mock the 81-year-old president’s daughter over the gaffe.
“L-G-B-what now?” the Republican National Committee’s RNC Research X account posted, including a video of Ashley flubbing the acronym.

Several social media users joked that speech hiccups must be inherited.
“She’s a true Biden,” one X user claimed.
“Like father, like daughter,” another individual added.
“Obviously, it runs in the family,” another X post stated.
One individual suggested that the White House could be to blame for Ashley’s gaffe.
“They had the teleprompter set to ‘Biden,’” the person wrote.
The president did not attend the Pride Month event because he was still at Camp David in Maryland, preparing for his debate with former President Donald Trump this past Thursday night.
Ashley described her father’s presidency as “the most pro-equality administration in history” during her brief remarks.
