The mainstream media is very rarely objective about President Trump. They spin propaganda against him and his allies all day long.

But a leaked Trump admin document just eviscerated the Fake News Media for peddling blatant lies.

DHS Document Exonerates Trump Admin In Deportation Of Illegal Immigrant

The mainstream media’s relentless campaign to vilify President Donald Trump’s immigration policies has once again tripped over its own narrative. A 19-year-old Venezuelan migrant, Merwil Gutierrez Flores, deported to El Salvador’s high-security “Terrorism Confinement Center” (CECOT), was portrayed as an innocent victim by outlets eager to cast Trump’s deportation efforts in a negative light. Yet, records reveal Gutierrez Flores was arrested in New York on February 25, on serious charges, including felonies tied to carrying a loaded firearm near a school. This inconvenient truth dismantles the sympathetic coverage that claimed he had no criminal history.

According to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) document, Gutierrez Flores faced three felony charges and a misdemeanor just one day before Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) apprehended him. The charges included second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, carrying a loaded firearm on school grounds, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and unlawful possession of ammunition feeding devices. These are not the marks of an innocent bystander, yet media outlets ran with his family’s claim that “he’s never been accused of a crime,” conveniently ignoring the damning evidence.

The DHS report goes further, alleging Gutierrez Flores’s ties to Tren de Aragua, a notorious Venezuelan gang classified as a foreign terrorist organization. This connection alone justifies the swift action taken by Trump’s administration to remove him from U.S. soil. On March 15, he was deported to CECOT, a facility designed to house dangerous criminals. The media, however, chose to amplify a narrative of injustice rather than confront the reality of his alleged gang affiliation and criminal behavior.

“Merwil Alberto Gutierrez Flores was deported to CECOT because he is an associate of Tren de Aragua — a foreign terrorist organization — whose criminal record included an arrest for having a loaded firearm and ammunition feeding devices at a school,” DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin stated. “The Biden Administration released this dangerous criminal into our communities in 2023. President Trump and Secretary [Kristi] Noem are getting these criminals off our streets and out of country.” This statement lays bare the stakes: Trump’s policies prioritize American safety, while the media obscures the threat posed by individuals like Gutierrez Flores.

The media’s portrayal of Gutierrez Flores as a victim hinges on selective reporting. Outlets like ABC7 framed him as “collateral” in Trump’s immigration crackdown, quoting Border Czar Tom Homan’s term without scrutinizing the migrant’s documented criminal charges. “Merwil became what Border Czar Tom Homan has referred to as ‘collateral,’” ABC7 reported, implying he was unfairly swept up in a dragnet. This framing dismisses the gravity of his arrest and the public safety concerns tied to his alleged gang ties.

Newsweek joined the chorus, publishing claims from Gutierrez Flores’s attorney, William Parra, who insisted, “Merwil was detained for hanging out with friends and was at the wrong place at the wrong time. ICE was not looking for him, nor is there any evidence whatsoever that Merwil was in any gang.” Such assertions crumble under the weight of the DHS document, which explicitly identifies Gutierrez Flores as an “Associate/Active” member of Tren de Aragua. The media’s failure to challenge these claims reveals a deliberate tilt against Trump’s immigration agenda.

Trump’s administration has made deporting suspected Tren de Aragua members a top priority, a move supported by El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele, who has assisted in housing dangerous deportees. This international cooperation stands in stark contrast to the media’s efforts to downplay the gang’s threat. By focusing on Gutierrez Flores’s family’s denials, outlets have sidestepped the broader implications of allowing suspected gang members to remain in the U.S., a policy flaw Trump is determined to correct.

Gutierrez Flores and his father illegally crossed the U.S. border in 2023, applying for asylum under the Biden administration’s lenient policies. The DHS notes that Gutierrez Flores was allowed to remain in the country until his immigration hearing, scheduled for February 1, 2027, due to a backlogged system. “Under our backlogged immigration system, this criminal illegal alien was allowed to live in our country and terrorize our communities,” the DHS stated. This critique exposes the chaos of Biden’s approach, which Trump’s team is now dismantling.

The media’s rush to humanize Gutierrez Flores ignores the principle of accountability. As DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin put it, “When Americans break the law, they face consequences. Now, criminal aliens and gangs finally do, too.” This straightforward logic clashes with the media’s tendency to frame deportations as heartless, even when the deportee is accused of serious crimes. The double standard is glaring: American citizens face swift justice, but the media demands leniency for migrants with documented criminal ties.

The FBI’s involvement in Gutierrez Flores’s case further validates the seriousness of his charges. According to the DHS, Trump’s FBI contacted ICE about the migrant just one day after his arrest, signaling immediate concern about his presence in the U.S. This rapid response contrasts with the media’s sluggishness in acknowledging the facts, as outlets clung to the “no criminal record” narrative even as evidence mounted.

The law firm representing Gutierrez Flores has remained silent, offering no response to inquiries about his case. This lack of rebuttal speaks volumes, yet the media has not pressed for answers. Instead, they’ve amplified unverified claims that Gutierrez Flores was not the intended target of ICE’s investigation, a distraction from the core issue: his alleged crimes and gang ties warranted his deportation.

Trump’s immigration officials face ongoing court challenges as they work to remove dangerous individuals like Gutierrez Flores. Despite these obstacles, their focus remains on protecting American communities from threats like Tren de Aragua. The media, however, seems more interested in crafting a narrative that casts doubt on these efforts, even when the evidence supports decisive action.
