We’ve seen all sorts of trafficking and violent crimes from illegal immigrants. But this takes the cake.

Because ICE arrested an illegal immigrant who committed the most insane crime imaginable.

Noem Highlights Extreme Case at Deportation Facility

During a Tuesday press conference at the newly opened “Alligator Alcatraz” migrant detention center in Florida, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem recounted a disturbing incident involving an alleged cannibal detained by federal agents.

Joined by President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Noem described how the individual, identified as a dangerous criminal, attempted to harm himself by self-cannibalization during a deportation flight, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The incident, relayed to her by U.S. Marshals working with ICE, highlights the Trump administration’s focus on deporting high-risk individuals to protect American communities.

Targeting Dangerous Criminals for Deportation

Noem used the incident to emphasize the need for aggressive deportation policies, arguing that such “deranged individuals” were allowed entry under the Biden administration’s lax border controls.

“The other day, I was talking to some marshals who have been partnering with ICE. They said that they had detained a cannibal and put him on a plane to take him home. And while they had him in his seat, he started to eat himself, and they had to get him off and get him medical attention,” she said.

She added:

“These are the kind of deranged individuals that are on our streets in America that we’re trying to target and get out of our country because they are so deranged they don’t belong here.”

Noem stressed that the administration is prioritizing the removal of “m*rderers, r*pists, traffickers, and drug dealers” to ensure families can safely pursue the American dream.

Florida’s Model for National Security

The “Alligator Alcatraz” facility, described by Noem as a “state-of-the-art” center with 3,000 beds, exemplifies Florida’s partnership with federal authorities to detain and deport illegal immigrants who violate U.S. laws.

Noem praised Governor DeSantis’ leadership, urging other governors to follow suit: “I hope my phone rings off the hook from governors calling and saying, ‘How can we do what Florida just did?’”

She thanked law enforcement and military personnel for their role in removing dangerous criminals, noting that the facility enables swift incarceration and deportation.

Noem’s remarks align with the administration’s broader success in reducing illegal border crossings by 93.1% in June 2025 compared to June 2024, reflecting a commitment to restoring safety and order.
