Trump doesn’t take too kindly to the fake news media. He’s always looking for a way to take a dig at them.

And President Trump schooled an ABC News reporter with an epic smackdown.

President Trump didn’t hold back when he tore into ABC News host George Stephanopoulos during a high-stakes meeting with Argentine President Javier Milei on Tuesday. In true Trump fashion, he exposed the media’s bias right there on the spot, turning what could have been a routine press moment into a masterclass in calling out the establishment press.

“We’ll take a couple of questions from the news, and I’m sure they’ll be incredibly non-hostile, and friendly, like JD went through a very ‘friendly’ interview with George Slopadopoulos,” Trump said while being sarcastic and poking fun at the name of George Stephanopoulous.

Trump didn’t stop there—he brought up the recent ABC lawsuit that ended in his favor, turning it into a hilarious jab at the network’s expense. “He was nice enough to pay me $16 million the last time we came — he had to pay $16 million to me. Which is good. It was worth it. It was worth having somebody lie. If you get $16 million, that’s good.” It’s classic Trump: turning a legal victory into a punchline that exposes the media’s dishonesty.

Shifting gears, Trump zeroed in on the disastrous interview Vice President JD Vance endured on the Disney-owned ABC network just days earlier. He painted a clear picture of how the left-wing media treats Republican leaders with outright contempt.

“JD had a very nasty person interviewing him, and we can’t let that happen. Just is inappropriate to cut off a highly respected vice president of the United States, mid-sentence. I guess it’s one way to win an argument. That was the only way he was gonna win the argument. It was pretty inappropriate, I wanna tell you that.” Trump’s words cut straight to the heart of the issue, defending his VP against the kind of ambush tactics that have become all too common from outlets like ABC.

To drive the point home, Trump flat-out refused to entertain any questions from what he rightly called “ABC fake news.” It’s a bold move that shows he’s not afraid to set boundaries with a press corps that’s more interested in gotcha moments than real journalism.

The whole episode stems from a heated Sunday showdown where Vance clashed with Stephanopoulos over baseless accusations against border czar Tom Homan. Vance stood his ground, refusing to let the host push a narrative built on thin air.

Stephanopoulos kept hammering away, insisting on some supposed evidence. He claimed Homan was “recorded on an audiotape in September 2024, an FBI surveillance tape, accepting $50,000 in cash.” But Vance wasn’t buying it, seeing right through the smear campaign.

“I don’t know what tape you’re referring to, George. I saw media reports that Tom Homan accepted a bribe. There’s no evidence of that. And here’s why fewer and fewer people watch your program and why you’re losing credibility,” Vance stated.

“Because you’re talking for now, five minutes with the vice president of the United States about this story regarding Tom Homan, a story that I’ve read about, but I don’t even know the video that you’re talking about.”

Vance tried to steer the conversation toward topics that actually matter to Americans, but Stephanopoulos wasn’t having it. Instead of engaging on substance, the host doubled down on the phony scandal and then abruptly wrapped up the interview, cutting Vance off in a move that reeked of desperation.

It’s no wonder viewers are tuning out—these so-called journalists prioritize witch hunts over the issues hitting everyday folks hard. Vance nailed it when he suggested they move on, but the host’s ego couldn’t handle the pushback.

After the interview, Vance took to social media to expose the absurdity of it all. “Peace in the Middle East? China threatening critical supply chains? Government shutdown? George S doesn’t care about that. He’s here to focus on the real story: a fake scandal involving Tom Homan,” the vice president said.

This isn’t just about one bad interview; it’s a pattern of behavior from networks like ABC that have long since abandoned any pretense of fairness. Trump and Vance are fighting back, and it’s resonating with patriots across the country who are sick of the lies.

In a time when America needs strong leadership on borders, the economy, and global threats, it’s telling that the left’s media allies would rather dredge up unproven dirt on dedicated public servants like Homan.

Trump’s public dressing-down of Stephanopoulos serves as a wake-up call to the press: play fair or get called out.

As the 2025 political landscape heats up, moments like this show why Trump remains the unchallenged voice for the forgotten men and women of America.

He’s not just talking—he’s delivering wins, from courtrooms to the world stage, all while exposing the fake news for what it is.
