The Trump administration is working to clean up the FBI. But there’s a lot of corruption they need to weed out first.
And the FBI has been exposed for dropping the ball on this assassination case.
The Deep State just got caught red-handed—again. Two Republican congressmen who sat on the official investigation into the July 13 Butler assassination attempt say the FBI deliberately withheld explosive evidence that Thomas Crooks was a violence-obsessed, Jew-hating, bomb-making wannabe terrorist who openly called for “terrorism style attacks” on the government.
Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA), who was on that Butler stage the day Crooks almost k*lled President Trump, stated: “They don’t want people to handle the truth.”
He said it twice. “We all know it wasn’t done, it wasn’t complete and the reason for that is they can’t handle the truth,” Kelly told the New York Post. “They don’t want people to handle the truth.”
Kelly and Rep. Pat Fallon (R-TX) were part of the 13-member bipartisan task force that spent months begging the FBI for answers.
What they got instead was a brick wall. Crooks’ body was cremated days after the shooting—before anyone could demand an independent autopsy.
The blood evidence on the roof was power-washed away. And the FBI sat on a mountain of social media posts that showed Crooks was anything but a loner.
The task force released its final report in December, patting themselves on the back for a job well done. Except it was garbage. Because the FBI never showed them the posts where Crooks wrote things like:
“IMO the only way to fight the gov is with terrorism style attacks, sneak a bomb into an essential building and set it off before anyone sees you, track down any important people/politicians/military leaders etc and try to assassinate them.” He posted that in 2020.
There were videos of him in his bedroom practicing handgun stances. Social media activity regarding how to shoot an AR-15 “as fast as possible.” Rants calling for the deaths of Jews and politicians. Searches for homemade explosives.
This wasn’t some confused kid. This was a committed domestic terrorist who somehow flew under every radar the FBI claims keeps us safe.
Rep. Pat Fallon says he never saw any of this evidence when he was on the task force. Not one post. Not one video. Nothing.
“I don’t think it would do any harm at all,” Fallon stated.
“You can’t investigate these things enough,” he added.
Even new FBI Director Kash Patel, Trump’s own pick, went on X and insisted Crooks’ digital footprint wasn’t really noteworthy.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed what every Trump supporter already knows: the President wants real answers.
“Those questions are definitely deserving of answers and I understand why the public wants those answers, and I believe the president does too,” Leavitt told Miranda Devine of the New York Post.
The American people deserve to know exactly who knew what, who hid what, and why they were so desperate to keep the public in the dark about a kid who wanted to blow up buildings and m*rder politicians.
