The border is secure. Now it’s time to get people out.

And a report exposed an imminent plan that Border Patrol is about to enact.

Border Patrol Gears Up for Major Louisiana Push

As President Trump’s promised mass-deportation machine revs into high gear, hundreds of U.S. Border Patrol agents are reportedly mobilizing for a major December surge into the New Orleans metro area—the latest front in a sweeping Southern crackdown that’s already racked up impressive numbers in Charlotte, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

“Operation Swamp Sweep” Targets Illegal Workers and Repeat Offenders

Dubbed “Operation Swamp Sweep” in insider circles, the upcoming New Orleans blitz is expected to zero in on the city’s sprawling service and hospitality sectors—hotbeds of illegal labor—and the heavily Hispanic suburb of Kenner.

While federal officials remain tight-lipped, the message from Louisiana’s top Republicans is crystal clear: obstruct federal agents at your own peril.

State Attorney General Liz Murrill, a staunch Trump ally, fired a warning shot on X Monday: Louisiana law makes it a felony to interfere with immigration enforcement, with penalties that “may include imprisonment with hard labor and thousands of dollars in fines.” Governor Jeff Landry’s office, another enthusiastic backer of the President’s deportation agenda, declined comment—but actions speak louder than press releases.

The Charlotte operation alone has already collared 370 illegal aliens in just weeks, including at least 44 with criminal records. A DHS spokeswoman confirmed Thursday that the Southern surge “isn’t ending anytime soon.”

In Louisiana’s Eastern District federal courts, docket after docket shows the early fruits of Trump’s renewed focus: illegal re-entrants, felons in possession of firearms, identity thieves using fake Social Security numbers to steal American jobs—all facing swift removal proceedings.

Democrat Leaders Cry “Rights” While Shielding Lawbreakers

New Orleans’ incoming Democrat mayor, Helena Moreno—an open-borders advocate and Mexican-American immigrant herself—rushed to circulate a “Know Your Rights” pamphlet urging residents to stonewall federal agents, keep hands visible, and demand to know whether officers are local police or “Immigration and Customs Enforcement.”

Moreno called reports of due-process issues in other cities “concerning” and demanded “accountability” for agents simply doing their jobs.

City Councilwoman Lesli Harris piled on, insisting immigration violations are merely “civil” matters and pleading with Border Patrol to “respect the civil nature” of the law while portraying illegal aliens as harmless “workers, business owners, parents, students, caregivers, and neighbors.” Translation: hands off the vote-rich bloc that keeps the city’s tourism economy humming on under-the-table labor.

For Border Patrol and the millions of Americans who put Trump back in office to secure the border and deport criminal aliens, the message from Louisiana’s Democrat stronghold is unmistakable: the rule of law takes a back seat when political power is at stake.

Agents, undeterred, are coming anyway, and this time they’ve got the full backing of a White House that promised to finish the job.
