The Radical Left is beyond corrupt. And the American people are tired of dealing with it.

And now, calls for Gavin Newsom’s criminal investigation are terrifying the Left.

A bombshell story published this week alleges that California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom carved out an unusual special provision in a piece of legislation that benefited one of his top donors.

Because of these corruption accusations, calls in Sacramento are mounting for a criminal investigation into Newsom.

According to Bloomberg News, billionaire Greg Flynn is receiving a “new boost” as a result of his Panera Bread chain’s exemption from a new law that would have required fast food establishments to raise their minimum wage from $16 to $20 per hour.

According to the report, Flynn is the biggest “restaurant franchisee in the US, if not the world.”

Because Panera Bread provided an “unusual exemption for chains that bake bread and sell it as a standalone item,” the company was exempt from the law.

According to the report, Newsom made a push for that break.

The report detailed the many connections between the two men, including their shared high school, Flynn’s large financial contributions to Newsom’s political campaigns, Flynn’s purported boasts about his easy access to Newsom, and Flynn’s purchase of a resort run by a business that Newsom owned.

Among the thousands of eateries that Flynn owns, are: Wendy’s, Panera Bread, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Applebee’s, and more.

He only owns Applebee’s (which is legal because it’s not a fast food restaurant) and Panera Bread as restaurants in California.

California Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher responded to the report in an X post, saying: “Can any franchisee get an exemption from the $20 minimum wage law or do they need to donate more than $150k to Newsom first? This crooked deal needs to be investigated.”

Professor of political science and authority on government ethics Dan Schnur stated to the San Francisco Chronicle that the governor has a duty to clarify why Panera (should profit) from this.

Without that justification, the majority of voters will believe he performed a significant favor for a major donor.

Additionally, Republican Assemblyman Joe Patterson demanded that the FBI be involved in any criminal investigation that was started.

He declared that one should not trust the state’s Democrat supermajority to conduct its own investigation.

The corruption coming from the Radical Left is unbelievable, and we must hold our elected officials accountable.
