House Republicans make a shocking discovery after Joe Biden investigation

Joe Biden and his entire family seem to be fully corrupt. But the Left keeps denying any wrongdoing.

However, House Republicans have made a shocking discovery after Joe Biden’s investigation.

Attorney General Merrick Garland was warned on Monday by House Republicans that he could be held in contempt of court for his refusal to release certain crucial materials.

The materials were from special counsel Robert Hur’s inquiry into President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents.

In a letter to Garland, Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) alleged that the Department of Justice (DOJ) was withholding documents that were relevant to their subpoenas.

They specifically mentioned audio recordings of Hur’s interviews with Biden and the transcript and audio recordings of Hur’s interviews with Biden’s ghostwriter, Mark Zwonitzer.

Comer and James wrote, “The February 27 subpoenas create a legal obligation on you to produce this material.”

“Accordingly, the Committees expect you to produce all responsive materials no later than 12:00 p.m. on April 8, 2024. If you fail to do so, the Committees will consider taking further action, such as the invocation of contempt of Congress proceedings.”

In response, a DOJ spokesperson said, “The Department has been extraordinarily transparent with Congress.”

“The Attorney General released Mr. Hur’s report to Congress and made no redactions or changes, the Department provided documents to Congress including a copy of the President’s interview transcript, and Mr. Hur testified before Congress for more than five hours about his investigation.”

The spokesperson added, “Given the Department’s ongoing and extensive cooperation, we hope they will reconsider this unnecessary escalation.”

Hur’s descriptions in his report have drawn criticism from Biden and the White House, but Garland said this week that it would have been “absurd” for someone in his position to have changed or suppressed the special counsel’s explanation.

Comer and Jordan declared in a cover letter that they had subpoenaed Garland after Hur’s report was made public. They claimed the DOJ had not provided any of the evidence they had previously requested, including transcripts, notes, video, and audio recordings.

The chairmen said they wanted to know if the White House or Biden’s personal attorneys set any limitations or scope restrictions during the interviews and noted that records kept by Biden might be relevant to the impeachment investigation centered on the president’s misconduct.

Additionally, Comer and Jordan wrote that the DOJ’s “commitment to impartial justice and its handling of the investigation and prosecution of President Biden’s presumptive opponent, President Donald J. Trump, in the November 2024 presidential election” was a reason why the Judiciary Committee requested materials.

In their latest letter, the legislators stated that the department’s response to their March 7 subpoena deadline was “insufficient production that only included letters exchanged between President Biden’s legal counsel and the Department, along with an offer to review two classified documents in camera.”

One day before Hur testified before the House Judiciary Committee regarding his probe, Comer and Jordan told the DOJ that the production was “inadequate” and required that the department submit “all” materials responsive to their subpoenas by the afternoon of March 11.

However, the DOJ once again “failed to comply” with their deadline, advising committee staff instead that “an ‘interagency review’ for classified and confidential information was still pending.”

They noted that the DOJ submitted two redacted transcripts of the special counsel’s interviews with Biden, which were conducted a little over two hours before Hur was supposed to testify.

Comer and Jordan pointed out that despite the DOJ’s claim that it only finished the “interagency review” of the transcripts on the morning of March 12, news reports claimed that “several” news outlets had obtained and examined the transcripts of Hur’s interviews with Biden prior to their being presented to their committees.

So, once again the radical Left continues to protect and cover for the corrupt Biden family, and they refuse to give America the truth.
