Joe Biden’s promise of no new wars was a lie. He’s putting the U.S. war machine into third gear.
And the president’s shocked the entire nation with this crazy war announcement.
A defense official informed reporters that the U.S. is strategically deploying new military assets to the Red Sea in anticipation of a potential assault by Iran or its allies on Israel.
Iran has issued a warning, threatening retaliation against U.S. troops in the Middle East if the Biden administration intervenes to defend Israel during an imminent attack. To counter this threat, undisclosed defense assets are being relocated to the region, aiming to dissuade Iran from targeting American forces previously subjected to attacks by Iranian proxies in Iraq and Syria.

Gen. Erik Kurilla of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) recently visited Israel to coordinate efforts with Israeli leaders in anticipation of Tehran’s promised reprisal, according to The New York Times.
Despite escalating tensions between the Biden administration and Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu, President Biden has reaffirmed unwavering support for Israel in the face of Iran’s explicit threats.
An unnamed U.S. official, speaking to Axios, summarized Iran’s message as a warning against provocation: We will retaliate against those who attack us, so avoid confrontation and we’ll reciprocate.
His comments, according to Axios, were much more direct and forceful per the report. “The Iranian message was we will attack the forces that attack us, so don’t f*ck with us and we won’t f*ck with you,”

Israel’s recent airstrikes, targeting and eliminating senior officials of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC) in April, have heightened tensions. Iran has held the U.S. directly accountable for these strikes, which could exacerbate the already strained relationship between Iran and Israel.
In an effort to deter potential aggression, the U.S. previously deployed defense assets to the Middle East in October and November, amidst concerns that Iran or its proxy, Hezbollah in Lebanon, might exploit conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Additionally, the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier, which had been stationed in the eastern Mediterranean as a display of U.S. strength, concluded its mission after eight months and three deployment extensions in January, according to U.S. Naval Institute News.
Joe Biden’s promise of not getting the U.S. involved in any new wars seems like an outright lie at worst, or a misleading “promise” typical of politicians at best.
In November 2019 at the Democrat Presidential Primary debate in Atlanta, Georgia, Joe Biden said “We have to bring our troops home from Afghanistan. We are spending — we spend $300 million a week beyond — excuse me, $300 million a day, $300,000 a week, $30 million a week. We can get it done. We should not send anyone anywhere to die unless the overwhelming interest of the United States of America is at stake. Period.”
In January of 2020 when providing a speech in New York, Biden said he would refuse to “mortgage my children and grandchildren’s future for another misguided war.”
Despite these promises, the U.S. seems closer to war than ever before. Sure, maybe there aren’t troops on the ground. But the U.S. war machine is spinning up with the support of the Biden administration.
Waging a proxy war is still waging a war.
