While the radical Left likes to think that they are untouchable, the truth is very different. And now, they have realized just how vulnerable they are.

Because House and Senate leaders have issued a scathing rebuke that has Biden terrified.

In a recent move, House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell have urgently demanded explanations from President Joe Biden regarding his administration’s decision to pause a crucial weapons shipment to Israel amid its ongoing conflict with Hamas.

The controversy began when reports surfaced that the Biden administration had delayed the delivery of various weapons shipments intended for Israel which is currently engaged in intense military operations against Hamas.

This delay seemingly contradicted prior assurances given to Congress about the steadfastness of U.S. support for Israel, especially in terms of security assistance.

In their joint letter, Johnson and McConnell expressed profound concern and surprise over these developments, especially given the recent bipartisan efforts to pass emergency national security funding specifically designed to support Israel in its defense needs.

“We were alarmed by media reports that your Administration had delayed the delivery of a variety of weapons shipments bound for Israel,” the letter stated, pointing to a stark deviation from agreed-upon commitments.

The leaders also highlighted their frustration with the lack of transparency from the Biden administration.

Despite their high-ranking positions and the gravity of the situation, they have faced significant hurdles in obtaining details about the ongoing review of the weapons shipments.

“Additionally, we have not been able to obtain pertinent information from the Department of State or from the Department of Defense regarding the ongoing review,” they wrote, signaling a breakdown in communication that could have broader implications for U.S. foreign policy and security commitments.

The specifics of the halted shipment include 1,800 2,000-pound bombs and 1,700 500-pound bombs, which the administration is reportedly scrutinizing due to concerns about their potential use in densely populated urban areas.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, addressing Congress, confirmed the pause and noted that the administration is “reviewing some near-term security assistance to Israel in the context of unfolding events in Rafah.”

This statement ties the review directly to the dynamic and potentially volatile military engagements occurring in the region, suggesting a cautious recalibration of U.S. involvement.

The request from Johnson and McConnell for a swift resolution and clear answers by the end of the week underscores the urgency and seriousness with which Congress views this issue.

They emphasized the existential threats facing Israel and pointed out that any perceived gaps in U.S. support could embolden Israel’s adversaries at a time when regional stability is incredibly fragile.

The implications of this pause in military aid are profound, touching on issues of Joe Biden going back on promises and making it obvious how poor his foreign policies are.

This is simply the newest example of the radical Left and Joe Biden’s lies that they tell in order to sway the public.

Joe Biden and the Left care so much about sending money and weapons to Ukraine, but they are hesitant to send anything to one of the United States’ strongest allies in Israel.
