Americans are still in the dark about much of what happened at Trump’s Pennsylvania rally. Someone needs to be held accountable.

And now a video of the Trump shooter raises one bombshell question we need an answer to.

A shocking video captures the moment would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks crawls onto the roof from which he shot former President Donald Trump, as frantic onlookers desperately try to alert nearby police officers.

Shared on X, the video shows concerned rally-goers in Butler, Pennsylvania, spotting Crooks, 20, crawling onto the roof of a manufacturing plant approximately 400 feet from where Trump was speaking. The crowd grows increasingly frustrated as their alarms are ignored throughout the 52-second clip.

“Look, they’re all pointing,” says the man behind the camera, capturing people pointing and looking directly at Crooks, clearly visible on the roof.

“Yeah, someone’s up on the top of the roof. There he is right there,” he continues, while others shout, “Right here, right on the roof!”

As Trump’s remarks continue in the background, the camera zooms in on Crooks, lying on his belly on the roof.

Despite several people pointing out the gunman and remarking about him, police appear to take no action, and Trump continues speaking.

“Officer!” a man yells, followed by a woman’s panicked shout: “He’s on the roof!”

Another person calls out, “He’s getting up now!” as Crooks is seen scooting forward on his stomach.

Crooks is clearly visible for much of the nearly minute-long video, during which police seem largely unresponsive to the attendees’ concerns.

It remains unclear whether the officers, who are not pictured in the video, took any immediate action.

The video emerged alongside reports that a local cop spotted Crooks moments before he attempted to k*ll former President Trump but failed to stop him.

After rally-goers spotted Crooks on the manufacturing plant roof, an officer climbed a ladder to investigate, law enforcement officials told the Associated Press on the condition of anonymity.

The officer — whose department had been enlisted by the Secret Service to help with security — encountered Crooks, who pointed his AR-style rifle at them.

The cop backed down the ladder, and Crooks immediately took aim, firing about eight shots at the former president, grazing him in the ear, k*lling a hero volunteer firefighter in the crowd, and gravely wounding two others, the source said.

Moments after he opened fire, Secret Service agents took Crooks down.

As of Sunday, it remained unclear why Crooks targeted the former president. No manifesto or clear motive had been posted online by the gunman, according to law enforcement sources.
