Vice President Kamala Harris doesn’t know what’s waiting for her. She’s in for a big surprise.

And Kamala Harris won’t believe who is about to upend her campaign for President.

Over the past few months, there’s been a number of polls and surveys indicating that Donald Trump is likely to perform better among black voters than any Republican has since the 1970s. Democrats were growing seriously concerned by this trend and even had Joe Biden make an appearance at the NAACP National Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. What’s also noteworthy is that this is a state Democrats are severely underperforming in.

With Joe Biden stepping aside from his campaign for a second term in office and Kamala Harris being anointed without winning any free and fair primary election, the Democrats have all their eggs in the Kamala Harris basket. They’re now claiming that there’s no concerns that the black vote will shift further into Donald Trump’s camp in the 2024 election as compared to the 2016 and 2020 elections.

That may be true, but there’s another voting bloc that could be an even bigger existential crisis facing Kamala Harris on her way to try and win this wild election cycle. That is males turning out to vote this November.

Male Voters Unlikely to Support Kamala Harris, Predicts Pennsylvania Voter

A Pennsylvania voter, during a CNN interview on Thursday, expressed doubts that male voters will support Kamala Harris, the presumptive presidential nominee, in the upcoming November election.

In a roundtable discussion on Anderson Cooper 360, four senior Pennsylvania women voters shared their reactions to Harris securing the necessary delegates to become the Democratic Party’s nominee. CNN’s John King facilitated the conversation, probing the panelists on their expectations for Harris in the critical battleground state.

While three of the women voiced optimism about Harris’ chances, one voter disagreed strongly.

“There’s a head shake, tell me why,” King prompted.

“No. I don’t think a lot of men will vote for Harris. I just don‘t. Whether you‘re Democrat, Republican, whatever. I just don‘t think the majority of men are ready for a female president,” the voter explained.

Recent polls have shown tight races in several battleground states between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. In a Bloomberg News/Morning Consult survey released in May, Trump had slightly increased his lead in Pennsylvania, widening his margin from one to two points, underscoring the state’s significance in the 2024 election.

Following Biden’s announcement on Sunday that he would not seek re-election, which he posted in a letter on X (formerly known as Twitter), he endorsed Harris. This endorsement sparked a surge of support from Democratic lawmakers, political figures, and donors, helping Harris secure over 3,000 delegates by Tuesday, confirming her status as the presumptive nominee ahead of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in August.

Despite this wave of support, former President Barack Obama notably refrained from directly endorsing Harris. In a detailed statement, Obama expressed confidence that the Democratic leadership would “create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges” at the party’s convention. Barack Obama later would announce his endorsement for Kamala Harris in a very theatrical way with the cameras rolling on Kamala Harris as she took a phone call from the Obamas to give her flowery words of support.

Comparisons Between the 2016 and 2024 Election Cycles

There are a ton of comparisons to be made between the 2016 and 2024 Presidential election cycles. One of the most interesting facts about how that 2016 cycle ended is how much Hillary Clinton failed to capture male voters. This is why she insisted she lost because of “s*xism” that year.

Women voted in favor of Hillary Clinton by more than a fifteen point difference, but men voted in favor of Donald Trump by an eleven point difference. Democrats without their thinking cap on will think this is a net win but it’s absolutely not. It’s a huge problem for the Democrats.

The popular vote does not win you elections. Democrats are in a position where they have to be able to win three key states in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Any one of those going to Donald Trump in November will make it nigh impossible for Kamala Harris to win.

If men, once again, go in favor of Donald Trump that will be devastating for Kamala Harris. In 2020, Joe Biden and Donald Trump almost evenly split the male vote in the nation. Even with that improvement Joe Biden made over Hillary Clinton with the male vote, he still had a nail-biting “win” against Donald Trump that year.

If there’s a near double-digit win for Donald Trump with male voters, this race is basically a foregone conclusion. If that’s not the case, something absolutely insane must be in store for us three months from now.
