Haley has been largely silent after losing to Donald Trump. Now she’s speaking her mind.
And Nikki Haley shook up the 2024 race with one shocking announcement.
In yet another desperate attempt to salvage the floundering Democratic agenda, a new campaign called “Haley Voters for Harris” has emerged, targeting over 77,000 voters who supported Nikki Haley in Wisconsin.
The goal? To flip these conservative voters and somehow convince them to back Kamala Harris in the upcoming election. Naturally, this absurd scheme has drawn the wrath of former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley, who has already slapped the group with a cease-and-desist letter.
Haley was clear in her condemnation, telling Fox News Digital, “Kamala Harris and I are total opposites on every issue. Any attempt to use my name to support her or her agenda is deceptive and wrong. I support Donald Trump because he understands we need to make America strong, safe, and prosperous.”
That straightforward rejection from Haley shows how far Democrats are willing to go with their misleading tactics.
Haley’s campaign has taken legal action, sending a letter to the “Haley Voters for Harris” PAC, demanding they stop the dishonest use of her name in support of Harris.
Despite this, the PAC seems determined to pursue this laughable plan, banking on the hope that enough of Haley’s 4.4 million primary voters might cross over and vote for the Democrats.
Craig Snyder, the director of this misguided PAC and former chief of staff to the late Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter, seems to think these Haley voters could be the magic key to winning Wisconsin, stating, “In such a closely contested place as Wisconsin, this group of voters, who have already clearly expressed their disapproval for Trump, can easily decide the race if even any significant portion of them join the coalition now behind the vice president.”
This is coming from a guy who believes Kamala Harris, one of the most far-Left vice presidents in history, has a “centrist” record. Harris is no centrist, and the notion that conservative-leaning voters would flock to her is nothing short of fantasy.
Haley’s voters in the primary, who Snyder is trying to manipulate, were largely college-educated, independent-minded Republicans — far from the Democratic Party’s core.
The group plans to lure these voters in by painting Harris as a moderate, focusing on her past as a “no-nonsense prosecutor” and cherry-picking parts of her record that are palatable to more conservative voters.
But the reality is that Harris has stood firmly behind the disastrous Biden administration and its far-Left policies. From the border crisis to the attacks on American energy independence, Harris has proven time and again that her agenda is anything but moderate.
Snyder still insists that they’ll reach out to Haley voters through digital ads, texting, and direct mail. But, as Snyder admits, Gov. Haley herself supports Trump, making it clear where true conservative loyalty lies.
“While Gov. Haley herself has made the decision to support Trump, for whatever personal reasons, these independent-minded voters will decide for themselves what’s better for our country,” Snyder said. A veiled attempt to undermine Haley’s decision, no doubt.
After initially stepping out of the GOP race in April, Haley threw her full support behind Trump, cementing the Republican Party’s unity behind the former president.
At the Republican National Convention, Haley gave her unambiguous endorsement, saying Trump has her “strong support” and that “you don’t have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him.” Haley knows, like many, that Trump is the best hope for a prosperous and secure America.
Despite this, Democrats continue their delusional effort to peel off GOP voters, even though they’re swimming against a tide of disillusionment in battleground states like Wisconsin.
Even though President Biden barely scraped by with a win in Wisconsin in 2020, the political landscape has shifted, with Biden’s approval plummeting after a string of embarrassing failures, culminating in his withdrawal from the presidential race following a disastrous debate performance in June.
The fact that Snyder led a similar effort to lure Haley voters to Biden before his exit shows just how flimsy these Democratic schemes are.
Polling in Wisconsin shows a tightening race between Harris and Trump, with some national polls giving Harris a slight edge, but it’s clear the state will be critical for either candidate.
Yet, with a proven track record of conservative failure from the Democrats, flipping Nikki Haley voters seems like nothing more than wishful thinking.
