And Iran made an attempt on Donald Trump’s life that you’ll never believe.
The Secret Service had been aware of a looming Iranian threat targeting former President Donald Trump more than a year before two attempts on his life occurred this summer, according to shocking testimony delivered to Congress last month.
In an Aug. 23 interview, an agent revealed to the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs that they had been alerted to a “possible drone attack” orchestrated by Iran, aimed at Trump.
The agent’s testimony, which came to light on Wednesday, confirms what many Trump supporters have suspected — President Trump has long been in the crosshairs of foreign adversaries like Iran, who have harbored deep resentment following his bold, decisive actions as Commander-in-Chief.
This included the targeted k*lling of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, a terrorist leader who threatened American lives.
When questioned by the committee about any known threats from Iran, the agent stated they had been “informed and notified about an active threat,” specifically mentioning a possible drone attack.
This disclosure underscores the ongoing risks Trump faces due to his fearless foreign policy decisions.
The agent, who joined Trump’s protective detail in June 2023, revealed that the threat briefing occurred around that time.
Despite the known danger, it was revealed that the Secret Service’s drone detection system was not operational during a July rally in Butler, Pa., where thousands had gathered to support Trump.
The agent voiced their frustration, saying, “It shocked me… They’re planning to have a protectee with 15-, 20,000 people, in an outdoor event, when there’s an active threat for the drone attack.”
While security planning falls beyond the Secret Service’s direct control, the agent’s concern underscores just how critical it is to ensure Trump’s safety as threats from hostile regimes persist.
Trump, always transparent with the American people, confirmed that the threats are ongoing. He took to Truth Social to sound the alarm, writing, “Big threats on my life by Iran. The entire U.S. Military is watching and waiting,” showing once again that he remains undeterred by enemies, both foreign and domestic.
Trump also thanked Congress for coming together — bipartisan for once — in approving additional funding to protect him, stating, “An attack on a former President is a Death Wish for the attacker!”
Adding to the gravity of the situation, an Iranian-made animation resurfaced online, depicting a chilling drone assassination attempt on Trump and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at Mar-a-Lago.
This video, first posted to Ayatollah Khamenei’s website, shows the level of hatred Iran harbors toward Trump’s legacy, but it also reveals their desperation in the face of a leader who stood firm against terror.
Despite the threats, Trump continues to command respect and admiration for his unwavering strength.
Even with adversaries like Iran plotting, Trump’s focus remains on safeguarding America and leading by example, never backing down from the fight to protect freedom.
