The election is just weeks away. The truth is coming out about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Because the White House just got caught red-handed in a scandal by a top Fox News reporter.

The epic natural disasters hitting the American south have been so devastating that Americans are all coming together to try and provide as much relief to those in the states of North Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee, as well as other southern U.S. regions. What we’re seeing is that Americans ultimately want to help each other out.

Not the federal government, though. Independent media sources have well-documented at this point the utter failure of the federal government to provide enough help to Americans in crisis as a result of the devastating hurricanes and flooding ravaging the southeast of the United States. One particular frustration Americans are expressing right now is that the federal government has been slow to help Americans while undocumented immigrants and foreign nations get the speediest and best financial assistance.

Tensions Flare at White House Briefing Over Hurricane Relief Funding

During a recent White House press briefing, a contentious exchange unfolded between Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy and Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre over the Biden administration’s approach to disaster relief funding. The confrontation arose when Doocy questioned the administration’s decision to seek congressional approval for financial aid to North Carolinians affected by Hurricane Helene, while simultaneously allocating $157 million to Lebanon without needing Congress in session.

Doocy challenged Jean-Pierre’s stance, pointing out that President Biden often emphasizes the importance of fiscal priorities, stating, “But President Biden is fond of saying ‘show me your budget, and I will tell you what you value.’ If he’s got money for people in Lebanon right now without Congress having to come back, what does it say about his values? There is not enough money right now for people in North Carolina who need it.” In response, Jean-Pierre labeled his framing as “misinformation,” igniting a spirited debate.

“No, that is. Your whole premise of the question is misinformation, sir,” she asserted, prompting Doocy to interject, “Excuse me?”

The press secretary countered by highlighting that the administration had already allocated over $200 million for disaster relief in North Carolina, emphasizing that it is Congress’s responsibility to authorize additional funding. She reiterated that the administration is currently awaiting Congress’s approval to provide more support for the affected regions.

“You can’t call a question you don’t like misinformation,” Doocy retorted. “That’s crazy.”

Jean-Pierre noted, “I actually said we have the money available to help survivors of Hurricane Helene and also Hurricane Milton. Now, there’s going to be a short fall because we don’t know how bad Hurricane Milton is going to be, and so we’re going to need additional funding.” Doocy reminded her that he had already raised that concern.

Jean-Pierre further emphasized that Doocy’s real question should be about “why Congress needs to come back and do their job.” This remark came as Biden had recently requested Congress to reconvene to approve further funding for hurricane relief.

In the backdrop of this exchange, the death toll from Hurricane Helene had risen to 227, with authorities recovering more bodies across Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas, as reported by the Associated Press. House Speaker Mike Johnson has stated that there was no immediate need for Congress to return from recess, though he assured that $20 billion had been appropriated to the Federal Emergency Management Agency prior to Hurricane Helene’s landfall.

The opinion of the American public that the federal government is failing those in crisis due to the hurricanes is appearing to have an impact on the Presidential election. Negatively for Kamala Harris since she’s the sitting Vice President of the United States.

She posted on Twitter in the middle of the hurricane disaster (also known as ‘X’) that she wanted the U.S. federal government to help the Lebanese people with their “dire humanitarian situation.” The American people did not respond well to that at all. They put her on blast for choosing the worst time to discuss foreign aid when so many Americans need immediate help.
