The end is here for Joe Biden’s administration. But there’s one last matter to take care of.

That’s why President Joe Biden was given this serious warning from Donald Trump and his allies.

The tragic terrorist attack in New Orleans, Louisiana quickly turned into an FBI investigation when it was discovered that the suspect had crossed state lines and the matter was of national concern. Since then early Wednesday morning, the FBI has been leading the investigation, which means the Biden administration which is on its way out still has work on its plate before they can go ride off into the sunset of irrelevancy.

Some are concerned that the Biden administration is going to mail in this investigation effort and assume that everything that there is to know about the tragedy is basically already known. Donald Trump’s allies are warning this is a dangerous assumption to make and one that Joe Biden’s administration need to not make lest there be another terrorist attack on the horizon.

Tom Homan Criticizes Biden’s Remarks on New Orleans Terror Attack, Warns of National Security Threats

Tom Homan, President Donald Trump’s designated Border Czar, raised concerns on Wednesday over President Joe Biden’s assumption that only U.S. citizens were involved in a recent terrorist attack in New Orleans. During an appearance on Fox News’ Hannity, Homan warned that Biden should not be quick to assume that domestic threats are solely the work of American citizens, especially in the context of increasing national security vulnerabilities tied to the southern border.

On New Year’s Day, 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar drove a Ford pickup truck into a crowd of revelers in New Orleans before engaging in a deadly shootout with police officers. At least ten people were k*lled, and dozens more were injured. While the FBI has not yet confirmed the full details of the attack, Homan speculated on the possible motivations behind it.

“It was a su*cide mission,” Homan said, referencing the attack alongside a previous one involving a Las Vegas Cybertruck explosion. “Neither one thought they were going to go home, and I think you’re going to see ISIS affiliation on both of them.” Homan sharply criticized President Biden’s dismissal of the possibility of international terrorist involvement, following the president’s comment about the attack being carried out by a U.S. citizen.

“Biden shouldn’t hang his hat on that,” Homan told Hannity guest host Tammy Bruce. He emphasized that the U.S. should not underestimate the global nature of the threat posed by terrorism, particularly as it relates to individuals who may enter the country through porous borders.

Homan also reminded viewers of the arrest of eight individuals from Tajikistan, who were caught in major U.S. cities such as New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles earlier this year. These individuals were reportedly planning a terrorist attack of Russian-style proportions within the U.S. Fortunately, they were apprehended by the intelligence community before they could carry out their plans. However, Homan warned that the country’s borders remain a critical weak point for national security.

“Let’s remember, just a couple of months ago we arrested eight people from Tajikistan in New York City, Philadelphia and L.A.,” Homan said. “They were planning a terrorist-type event – a Russian-type terrorist event here in the United States. Luckily, the intel community caught them before they did it. Let’s remember, you’ve got over 2 million got-aways, known got-aways, over the southern border.”

Homan’s comments are in lockstep with a growing concern among national security experts and officials about the state of the U.S. border and the increasing number of illegal crossings. According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Border Patrol agents have encountered over 7.4 million illegal immigrants since the beginning of fiscal year 2021. These figures, coupled with the high number of “got-aways” – individuals who are detected but not apprehended – have raised alarms about potential threats entering the country undetected.

“I wouldn’t hang his hat on, you know, these attacks being done by U.S. citizens,” Homan reiterated. “It’s coming. Even Christopher Wray… said the southern border is the biggest national security vulnerability he’s ever seen.”

Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI, has previously called the southern border a significant national security vulnerability, highlighting concerns about the flow of individuals who may pose a threat to U.S. safety. Homan is suggesting that the Biden administration should not downplay the role of foreign terrorist organizations and illegal immigration in exacerbating national security risks.

Homan’s criticism of President Biden comes amid his recent appointment as border czar by President-elect Donald Trump. In this new role, Homan is expected to play a key part in the administration’s immigration strategy, which includes an aggressive push to ramp up deportations and secure the U.S.-Mexico border. The issue of border security is expected to be a central focus of Trump’s 2024 campaign, with both sides of the political aisle emphasizing the need for comprehensive reforms.
