Democrats are falling apart. They’re simply crumbling under all the pressure they’re facing.
And this radical Leftist congressmember is in shambles after this disturbing exchange with a Fox News reporter.
In a heated encounter on Capitol Hill, far-Left Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett stood by silently as one of her aides confronted a Fox News Digital reporter. The journalist had pressed her with a pointed question: Does she believe her fiery rhetoric against Elon Musk and Tesla might be fueling the wave of violent attacks targeting Tesla owners and dealerships across the U.S. and Canada?
The aide stepped in close, looming into the camera’s frame, prompting the reporter to snap, “Why are you in my face?” The aide’s reply: “I’m not.”
The reporter persisted, noting Crockett’s status as an elected official. “[I’m] just asking her a question, she’s an elected member of Congress,” he said. The aide, unmoved, responded with a single word—“Talk”—while holding his ground.
Crockett, flanked by aides and security, including a Capitol police officer, avoided eye contact and offered no response as they walked away, her aide’s gaze lingering on the reporter.
The confrontation comes amid a surge of hostility toward Tesla. In recent weeks, at least 80 acts of vandalism have struck Tesla vehicles in the U.S. and Canada, alongside 10 reported incidents of arson and destruction targeting Tesla dealerships, charging stations, and properties.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has labeled these acts “domestic terrorism,” vowing a tough response. Three suspects accused of damaging Teslas and EV infrastructure now face up to 20 years in prison, with Bondi emphasizing, “We are not coming off these charges. … This is domestic terrorism.”
Crockett, a vocal critic of Elon Musk, has found herself in the spotlight. Her remarks during a “Tesla Takedown” event—a nationwide call hosted by a group pushing for Tesla owners to ditch their cars and investors to abandon the company’s stock—drew particular attention.
“On March 29, it’s my birthday,” she told participants, referencing a planned “Global Day of Action” against Tesla. “All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.”
As a member of the DOGE Oversight Committee, she added, “I have learned … that there is only one language that the people that are in charge understand right now, and that language is money.”
Bondi singled out Crockett, cautioning her to “tread very carefully” after those comments. The Fox News reporter’s question echoed that warning: “What’s your response to the attorney general saying you’re threatening lives with your rhetoric against Musk and Tesla?”
Later, he pressed further: “Congresswoman, do you see any connection to you saying you want to take down Musk to the violence that’s going on in the streets?” Crockett’s silence left the queries hanging.
Why are we paying for extra security for Jasmine Crockett….. watch how this thug gets in the face of a Fox News digital reporter, and the reporter has to ask him… why are you getting in my face…?@SpeakerJohnson has yet to censure her and an incident report was filed for… pic.twitter.com/IkRPXYJ2hw

The congresswoman has insisted her stance is nonviolent, framing her calls to action as a defense of democracy. “We know that we are peaceful, loving people, and this is not about violence,” she said during the Tesla Takedown call.
Yet the escalating incidents—firebombings, vandalism, even a shooting at Tesla sites—cast a shadow over the movement’s peaceful claims.
Adding a layer of irony, Crockett, who once championed the “defund the police movement” as a path to “healing,” was escorted by a Capitol police officer during the encounter with the Fox News reporter.
Her recent statements have already stirred controversy, and this latest episode only amplifies the criticism.
As the Justice Department cracks down, Bondi remains resolute. “People need to know that the three people in custody right now … will receive severe and swift consequences,” she said, hinting at a deeper investigation into whether the attacks form a coordinated campaign.
For now, Crockett’s refusal to engage leaves open questions about the impact of her words—and the growing unrest they may have ignited.
