The Left’s radical groups have a target on their backs. They won’t get away with their devious actions for much longer.

And this radical Leftist organization is on its heels after a Republican launches an investigation against them.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Starts Investigation Into Planned Parenthood

On Friday, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican from Georgia, announced that her DOGE subcommittee will investigate Planned Parenthood, raising concerns about the nonprofit’s handling of federal dollars. In a pointed letter to Planned Parenthood CEO Alexis McGill Johnson, Greene questions whether the organization is improperly mixing “federal funds and using them for unpermitted purposes.”

Under the Hyde Amendment, federal money cannot be used for abortions, a restriction reinforced by executive actions from President Donald Trump, who also moved to block federal funding for groups offering transgender healthcare to minors.

Greene’s letter, however, suggests Planned Parenthood may be sidestepping these rules, accusing the organization of using its resources for both abortions and transgender services.

“Despite receiving 39 percent of its annual revenue from federal funds intended for essential health services, such as cancer screenings and wellness exams, Planned Parenthood is increasingly using its resources to offer abortions to its patients,” Greene stated.

She cited the organization’s latest annual report, which shows Planned Parenthood performed over 400,000 abortions, marking a 23 percent rise over the past decade.

Greene also criticized Planned Parenthood for providing “gender-affirming care” with what she claims is “allegedly little to no medical or psychological evaluation.” According to an annual report referenced by Greene, 45 Planned Parenthood “affiliate health centers” offer hormone therapy for such care.

Yet, she argues, other gender transition services are lumped into vague categories like “other procedures,” alongside pediatric and infertility care, which she says hides the “true number of transgender services provided.”

“Planned Parenthood’s official policy varies by state, but some Planned Parenthood health centers will provide cross-sex hormones to minors as young as 16 years old with parental consent,” Greene said, while alleging the organization does not always follow its own parental consent rules.

To dig deeper, Greene is demanding Planned Parenthood provide non-public financial records from January 2020 to June 2025, a list of its independent affiliate health centers, informed consent forms, and other documents.

This timeframe notably covers the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, which shifted abortion regulation back to the states.

For years, Republicans have scrutinized Planned Parenthood, alleging it misuses federal funds despite the Hyde Amendment’s clear restrictions.

Supporters of the organization, however, champion it as a vital provider of women’s healthcare, a role they argue has grown even more essential since the 2022 Supreme Court ruling.

Greene’s investigation, launched under the House Oversight Committee’s DOGE subcommittee, comes on the heels of House Republicans passing their version of Trump’s “big, beautiful bill,” which includes a measure to cut federal funding for organizations that offer abortions.

As the probe unfolds, it is likely to reignite debates over Planned Parenthood’s role and the future of federal funding for gender-related healthcare.
