Joe Biden clearly wasn’t all there during his time as president. But now we’re finding out who exactly ran the show.

And a former Democrat has made a shocking accusation on who ran the White House during Biden’s presidency.

In a gripping exposé, Lindy Li, a former Democratic National Committee (DNC) fundraiser and National Finance Committee member, has pulled back the curtain on what she describes as a calculated effort to conceal former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline.

Speaking exclusively to Fox News Digital, Li shared her firsthand account of the inner workings of Biden’s presidency, pointing to a cadre of influential figures who, she claims, orchestrated decisions behind the scenes.

“[Biden is] definitely complicit, but there were a lot of people behind him, like puppet masters. [Former first lady Jill Biden] very much knew what she was doing. What she did was absolutely elder abuse. There is no question in my mind,” Li stated, her words carrying the weight of someone who witnessed the dynamics up close.

Li’s allegations come as Republicans on the House Oversight Committee intensify their probe into what they call a cover-up of Biden’s mental state. Last week, Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., issued a subpoena to Anthony Bernal, a former assistant to Joe Biden and senior advisor to First Lady Jill Biden, compelling him to appear for a deposition on July 16.

Bernal, who also served as Jill Biden’s chief of staff, initially agreed to a voluntary interview on June 26 but backed out after the White House Counsel’s office waived executive privilege for the committee’s investigation.

“They deny the cover-up, but I had a front-row seat watching it happen. People like Anthony Bernal. I saw him running the White House like he was in charge, like he was a king. It’s just so amazing now to see him dodge a subpoena and completely dodge accountability. He can run, but he can’t hide. His name is going to go down in infamy forever,” Li said to Fox News Digital.

According to Li, Bernal wielded significant influence, particularly in the East Wing, where he “followed Jill around like a dog.” Her observations paint a picture of a White House where power was concentrated among a select few.

Beyond Bernal, Li named deputy chief of staff Bruce Reed, counselor Steve Ricchetti, and senior advisors Anita Dunn and Mike Donilon as key players steering the administration during Biden’s tenure. Li’s role in organizing fundraisers in battleground states and attending White House events gave her a unique vantage point into these dynamics.

The House Oversight Committee’s investigation also recently brought Neera Tanden, Biden’s former domestic policy advisor, to testify about the use of an autopen—a device that automatically signs documents, used across administrations to execute pardons, memos, and other official papers on the president’s behalf.

Tanden described the process as “thorough,” stating, I “answered every question, was pleased to discuss my public service, and it was a thorough process.” She also added that she was “glad I answered everyone’s question.”

Li, however, wasn’t convinced, describing Tanden’s role in using the autopen as “intricate” and suggesting it was employed when “Biden was manifestly unqualified and unable to prosecute the duties of the office.”

She drew a striking comparison to Jill Biden’s response after the former president’s faltering debate performance a year ago, when the first lady declared, “You answered every question!” Li argued that this moment, coupled with talking points from Biden’s campaign managers citing campaign finance laws as a reason he couldn’t exit the race, reflected a concerted effort to mask his condition.

Having left the Democratic Party, Li says she’s faced backlash from former allies but remains steadfast in her claims. She places Jill Biden at the heart of the administration’s power structure, asserting, “Joe was not able to do a lot of campaign events, so Jill would come out on his behalf, acting like the president or the presidential candidate.”

“That’s why she graced the Vogue cover three times. She loved it. If I were to pinpoint two reasons why Joe decided to run again, it would be two people: Jill and Hunter Biden. Because Hunter Biden’s freedom was on the line and Jill’s ego was on the line.”

Li’s claims gain context with the timeline of Biden’s presidency. Before endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris and exiting the race last summer, Jill Biden briefly stepped away from campaigning to support Hunter Biden during his federal trial, where he was found guilty on all counts. President Biden later issued a pardon for his son before leaving office in January.

According to Fox News Digital, when asked about Li’s allegations, a former Biden official responded dismissively, saying, “Who is Lindy Li?”

Yet, Li’s detailed account and the ongoing congressional scrutiny suggest her revelations may fuel further debate about the inner workings of the Biden White House.
