Republicans are no longer playing nice. They’re going to fight tooth and nail to defend themselves.

And a GOP congressman unleashes his rage on a radical Leftist for making this ridiculous statement.

In the heated halls of the House Oversight Committee, sparks flew Thursday as radical Squad member Rep. Rashida Tlaib unleashed a tirade against President Trump’s moves to clean up crime in Washington, DC. Labeling it an outright power grab, she didn’t hold back, stirring up a storm that exposed the deep divide between common-sense conservatives and extreme leftists.

Tlaib went on the attack, slamming her Republican counterparts for supposedly twisting the facts about the capital’s surging crime rates just to back Trump’s agenda. She claimed she couldn’t even recognize the picture they were painting.

“I don’t see what they see,” Tlaib declared, pushing her narrative that the crackdown was nothing but harmful overreach.

She doubled down, warning that this approach would only damage neighborhoods across the country. “I don’t understand why we’re allowing that to happen, because I actually think it’s going to hurt our communities,” she added.

Then came the bombshell accusation that lit the fuse. Tlaib called out the entire effort as authoritarian, pleading with Chairman James Comer (R-KY) to shut down what she saw as slander against the city.

“I think it’s really important, we need to stand up against this fascist takeover. That’s not a bad word. It’s a fact,” Talib said. She then asked Comer to “not allow rhetoric that defames or paints Washington, DC in a way that you all haven’t really truly seen.”

Enter Rep. Byron Donalds, a no-nonsense Florida Republican and fierce ally of Trump’s anti-crime push. As Tlaib’s allotted time ran out, she kept yapping, prompting Donalds to jump in and call her out for crossing a dangerous line.

“Mr. Chairman, I think it’s insane that the gentlelady doesn’t have an argument so she’s going to refer to me and some of my colleagues like we were from the Third Reich – this is insane,” Donalds said to Comer while Tlaib kept speaking.

Donalds, who is black, turned the tables directly on Tlaib, challenging her inflammatory words head-on. “Do I look like a member of the Third Reich to you, Ms. Tlaib? Is that what I look like to you?”

Instead of backing down or apologizing, Tlaib pivoted to a wild accusation, dredging up claims that Donalds had broken rules by voting when he wasn’t present earlier this year.

“Please, oh please!” Tlaib exclaimed. “You’re the one taking your voting card, giving it to somebody, committing a crime. That’s unethical!”

The exchange escalated, with Donalds refusing to let her “fascist” slur slide while she pounded away at her voting allegations.

“Is that what you think? Is that what you think? I think it’s radical, and I think it’s insane … to say something like that to myself and my colleagues is way out of line,” Donalds stated.

Tlaib wasn’t done, firing off a sharp retort demanding accountability. “You hold yourself accountable before you talk about Washington, DC. Keep Washington, DC out of your mouth!”

Donalds shot back without missing a beat, flipping the script on her hypocrisy. “Hold your own self accountable. How about that?” The chaos peaked when Tlaib broke into a bizarre chant, repeating her slogan like a mantra until Chairman Comer finally restored some semblance of order. “Free DC! Free DC!” Tlaib chanted.

This wasn’t just another Capitol Hill spat; it highlighted how far-left rhetoric is poisoning the well, especially in the wake of recent tragedies. Donalds later opened up to reporters about why Tlaib’s words cut so deep.

He explained that her attempt to brand him and other Republicans as fascists hit a raw nerve, coming hot on the heels of the shocking assassination of conservative powerhouse Charlie Kirk just last week.

Taking to X, Donalds didn’t mince words, connecting Tlaib’s outburst directly to the kind of dangerous talk that fuels violence against patriots: “She used the exact same irresponsible rhetoric that inspired Tyler Robinson and was completely out-of-line.”
