Trump isn’t one to beat around the bush. He’s a straight shooter.
And Donald Trump left world leaders speechless with this scathing rebuke.
President Donald Trump didn’t hold back during his powerhouse speech at the United Nations General Assembly, calling out the global body’s failures and positioning himself as the real deal-maker fixing the world’s messes. Standing tall in New York, he hammered home how he’s sealed America’s borders and stepped up to broker peace where others have faltered.
In a no-nonsense rant that lasted almost an hour, Trump spotlighted his wins in calming hotspots like Israel, Ukraine, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. He slammed the UN for sitting on the sidelines, not lifting a finger to assist in these critical efforts.
“It’s too bad that I had to do these things instead of the United Nations doing them, and sadly, in all cases, the United Nations did not even try to help in any of them,” he stated during his speech.
Trump didn’t mince words about the organization’s role, demanding to know why it exists if it can’t deliver results. He praised its possible greatness but ripped into its current state as a failure.
“What is the purpose of the United Nations? The UN has such tremendous potential. I’ve always said it, it has such tremendous, tremendous potential, but it’s not even coming close to living up to that potential for the most part, at least for now, all they seem to do is write a really strongly worded letter and then never follow that letter up,” Trump continued.
He drove the point home by declaring that mere rhetoric achieves nothing in the face of real threats. “It’s empty words, and empty words don’t solve war.”
Shifting gears, Trump turned his fire on Europe, sounding the alarm about their dire situation with unchecked immigration and disastrous green energy schemes. He painted a grim picture of a continent under siege. “Europe is in serious trouble,” he said.
He zeroed in on the massive influx of illegal migrants, calling it an invasion unmatched in history, and mocked their obsession with wind power as a path to ruin. “They’ve been invaded by a force of illegal aliens like nobody has seen before. Both the immigration and their suicidal energy ideas will be the death of Western Europe,” Trump said.
Trump urged European nations to reclaim their sovereignty, seal their frontiers, and safeguard their way of life from outsiders who erode traditional values. He stressed that every country has the right to defend its heritage against alien influences.
“It’s time to end the failed experiment of open borders. You have to end it now,” he added.
Trump then delivered a stark truth bomb: “Your countries are going to h*ll.”
He pinned much of the blame on the UN itself, accusing it of fueling the migrant crisis that plagues America and its allies. Trump raged against how the organization enables the flood of illegals into Western lands.
“Your countries are being ruined. The United Nations is funding an assault on Western countries and their borders,” the president said.
Pulling no punches, he exposed the UN’s spending habits that directly aid those crossing into the U.S. unlawfully. “In 2024, the UN budgeted $372 million in cash assistance to support an estimated 624,000 migrants journeying into the United States. Think of that,” Trump stated.
“The UN is supporting people that are illegally coming into the United States, and then we have to get them out. The UN also provided food, shelter, transportation and debit cards to illegal aliens.” Even with these bold jabs, the speech wasn’t smooth sailing—Trump dealt with some UN glitches that only fueled his critique. On his way in, the escalator carrying him and First Lady Melania conked out midway.
While kicking off his remarks, the teleprompter froze up, leaving him to wing it like the pro he is. “All I got from the United Nations was an escalator that on the way up, stopped right in the middle,” Trump said. “These are the two things I got from the United Nations, a bad escalator and a bad teleprompter.”
Yet, for all his straight talk against globalist diversity pushes, the crowd didn’t boo or walk out. Instead, world leaders lined up to chat with the man who’s shaking things up. Trump revealed a backstage huddle with Brazil’s President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, with a full sit-down planned for next week.
He’s also gearing up for talks with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky and a roster of other heads of state right there at the UN. This address cements Trump’s status as the anti-establishment force, exposing the UN’s hollow core while he racks up real victories for peace and security.
