And Tim Walz was caught making a nasty lie about the Trump White House.

Tim Walz Spreads Anti-Trump Lie Regarding White House Priorities

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, the Democrat who bombed as Kamala Harris’s running mate, is at it again, pushing bogus narratives to smear President Donald Trump. This time, he’s twisting words from the White House to claim that Trump’s biggest focus is some fancy ballroom renovation, all while ignoring real American needs. But let’s set the record straight: this is just more fake news from the left, designed to distract from their own failures.

Walz made his wild accusation during a rant about federal funding and the government shutdown. He painted a picture of Trump as out-of-touch, prioritizing luxury over everyday folks. But dig a little deeper, and it’s clear Walz is the one playing fast and loose with the facts, joining a chorus of Democrats who’ve been using out of context quotes to bash the president.

The core of Walz’s lie boils down to this: He insists the White House declared the ballroom construction as Trump’s absolute top priority overall. Wrong. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was talking strictly about ongoing work at the White House itself, not Trump’s entire agenda for the country.

This misinformation didn’t start with Walz. It revved up when House Democrats latched onto a snippet from Leavitt’s press conference, ignoring the full story to fuel their anti-Trump agenda. Now, Walz is parroting it like a true party hack, proving he’s more interested in scoring political points than telling the truth.

Let’s hear what Walz actually said, unfiltered: “Just so you know, the scope and the scale of this, those are Minnesota tax dollars that went to the federal government, again, one of a handful of states that pays more in than we get back. I want to be very clear, USDA, during this shutdown, has contingency funds that they could release just like us. They are choosing not to.”

He kept piling on, blaming the Trump administration for withholding help: “They are choosing not to, and I can paint any d*mn picture you want for you. They’re paying contractors to tear down the East Wing, but they’re not putting money into the food bank that they’re setting on. So if there’s a sense of frustration in America, it’s very real.”

Then came the punchline where Walz distorted Leavitt’s words: “And when the White House press secretary said the top priority is the ballroom, we could not disagree more. Our top priority is the well being of the Minnesotans, especially around food security, home heating assistance, and the things that we know Minnesota does really well.”

Sounds dramatic, right? But Walz conveniently left out the context. The reporter’s question was laser-focused on White House renovations: “In addition to the ballroom and the Rose Garden patio, is the president looking at any other renovations or significant kinds of projects here at the White House?”

Leavitt’s response stayed right in that lane, praising Trump’s builder instincts without veering into national policy: “Not to my knowledge, no, but he’s a builder at heart, clearly. And so, his heart and his mind is always churning about how to improve things here on the White House grounds.”

She wrapped it up by noting: “But at this moment in time, of course, the ballroom is really the president’s main priority.” See? It’s all about the grounds, not the Oval Office’s big-picture plans. Walz and his Democrat buddies are manufacturing outrage from thin air.

This isn’t just a slip-up; it’s a pattern. Democrats like Walz love to hype up these distortions to rile up their base.

Meanwhile, Trump is out there fighting for border security, energy independence, and American jobs – real priorities that put people first.

Walz’s failed VP bid should have been a wake-up call, but instead, he’s doubling down on the same tired tactics. Remember, this is the guy who couldn’t even hold his own against JD Vance in debates, resorting to gaffes and half-truths.

Now he’s using Minnesota’s tax woes as a prop to attack Trump, when the real issue is bloated federal spending under Democrat control.

In the end, this episode exposes the left’s desperation. With Trump back in charge, they’re scrambling to undermine him at every turn.

But Americans aren’t buying it – they see through the lies, and they’re ready for a leader who builds up the nation, not tears it down with fake news. Walz might keep spinning, but the truth always wins out.
