Marco Rubio has been a solid defender of the Trump administration. This has made him a valuable asset to the president.

And Secretary Rubio unleashed on officials for these attacks on the Trump admin.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio went on a fierce counterattack against European officials on Wednesday, slamming their complaints about America’s bold strikes on drug-running boats in the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean.

Speaking to reporters at a G-7 meeting, Rubio made it crystal clear that the U.S. won’t tolerate outsiders dictating how it handles threats right in its own backyard.

“I don’t think that the European Union gets to determine what international law is. What they certainly don’t get to determine is how the United States defends its national security,” Rubio stated.

“The United States is under attack from organized, criminal narcoterrorists in our hemisphere, and the president is responding in the defense of our country.”

Rubio didn’t hold back in exposing what he sees as blatant double standards from these so-called allies, who eagerly line up for American weapons and support in their own fights but whine when the U.S. protects its borders.

He pointed out the irony in European nations begging for high-tech U.S. arms to bolster Ukraine against Russian aggression, while turning around and questioning America’s moves against vicious Latin American cartels flooding our streets with poison.

“I do find it interesting that all these countries want us to send and supply, for example, nuclear-capable Tomahawk missiles to defend Europe, but when the United States positions aircraft carriers in our hemisphere, where we live, somehow that’s a problem?” Rubio said.

The top diplomat emphasized that President Trump’s priority is straight-up America First, shielding the nation from real dangers without apology or permission from abroad.

“I would say that the United States and this president has made very clear his job is to protect the United States from threats against the United States, and that is what he is doing in this operation,” Rubio stated.

This no-nonsense stance comes amid a massive U.S. military push to smash the sea lanes exploited by ruthless drug lords smuggling deadly fentanyl and cocaine straight into American communities.

American forces have deployed multiple aircraft carriers, backed by a powerful armada of warships and advanced gear, right off Venezuela’s coast in the Caribbean and across the Pacific to choke off these criminal waterways.

So far, the operations have taken out around 20 vessels, including sneaky submarines, that the White House identifies as key tools in the cartels’ deadly trade wreaking havoc on U.S. soil.

Yet, instead of gratitude for stemming the flow of this toxic scourge, some allied officials are throwing fits, accusing the strikes of breaking vague “international law” and demanding they halt immediately.

Reports indicate the United Kingdom has even pulled back on sharing vital intel about South American drug ops, apparently to dodge any association with America’s decisive actions.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot went further, openly blasting the U.S. at the G-7 summit in Canada, claiming the military efforts in the Caribbean breach global rules and risk stirring up trouble in the area, as noted by The Washington Post.

Rubio’s fiery words serve as a wake-up call to global elites: the days of lecturing America while relying on its strength are over, and it’s time for true partners to step up or step aside in the fight against threats that hit home hardest for us.
