The mainstream media doesn’t think too hard. They just make it too easy.

And now Donald Trump eviscerated a reporter for asking the most moronic question imaginable.

Trump’s Bold Defense of Free Speech

President Donald Trump didn’t hold back on Sunday when a pushy Bloomberg reporter tried to cut him off mid-sentence during questions about Tucker Carlson’s hard-hitting interview with Nick Fuentes on The Tucker Carlson Show.

Standing firm for open dialogue, Trump championed Carlson’s right to engage with controversial voices, reminding everyone that real journalism means talking to whoever you choose—without interference from the establishment media.

Standing Up to Rude Interruptions

The exchange highlighted Trump’s no-nonsense style as he pushed back against the interruption, keeping the focus on principles over gotcha moments.

“We’ve had some good interviews. I did an interview with [Carlson]. We had 300 million hits. You know that. Look, I can’t tell him. Well, you let me finish my thing. You are the worst. You’re with Bloomberg, right?” Trump fired back. “You are the worst! I don’t know why they even have you.”

This comes amid backlash from some on the right following Carlson’s October 27 interview, where he and Fuentes tackled identity politics, the failures of the conservative elite, and that infamous 2022 Mar-a-Lago dinner with Trump and Ye.

Trump reiterated he had no idea Ye was bringing Fuentes along and stressed he doesn’t know much about the young commentator—yet he refuses to dictate who others can platform.

Why Tucker Interviewed Fuentes—and Why It Matters

Tucker Carlson explained to Megyn Kelly on Sirius XM that he pursued the interview after discovering Fuentes’ massive sway among young men, despite relentless attempts by the cancel culture crowd to silence him since college.

“Then I got all these calls from people saying, ‘do you know anything about Nick Fuentes.’ I don’t really know anything about Nick Fuentes except that he’s attacking my dad, my wife and my son. And it was like, actually, Nick Fuentes is the single most influential commentator among young men … And then it turns out that he has no advertisers, they’ve been trying to cancel him since freshman year of college. Ben Shapiro actually tried to shut him down in college. And it didn’t work. In fact, it had the opposite effect. So then I talked to a million people I know, like ‘maybe I should interview Nick Fuentes, like what is this, actually? So then I decided to do it,” Carlson said.

Even Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts faced heat for backing Carlson’s decision to shine a light rather than hide in the shadows, showing how the old guard sometimes fears real conversation.

Meanwhile, Fuentes—known for provocative takes on history, admiration for strong leaders like Stalin, and comments that rattle elites—commands over a million followers on X and pulls huge audiences on platforms like Rumble.

In an era of censorship, giving him a voice exposes the hypocrisy of those quick to smear while dodging debate, a fight Trump has long led against Big Tech and media gatekeepers.
