The job of White House Press Secretary is relentless. You have to take questions from bad faith actors who want to see you fail.

But now Karoline Leavitt lit up the media in a brutal takedown caught on camera.

White House Blasts Media Bias in Fiery Defense of ICE Agents

In a press briefing that cut through the usual spin, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt unleashed a sharp rebuke against the mainstream media and Democrats for what she described as their relentless demonization of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

This comes amid escalating tensions over immigration enforcement, where agents face real dangers while carrying out their duties.

Leavitt argued that biased reporting and inflammatory rhetoric from the left are directly fueling street violence against law enforcement—highlighting how legacy outlets often twist narratives to fit a preferred storyline rather than the facts on the ground.

Leavitt pointed to a recent incident in Minneapolis involving an ICE agent who was ambushed during a targeted operation against a Venezuelan illegal alien unlawfully present in the country.

She explained: “That’s not the story.” She detailed how, when the agent attempted to detain the individual, “three more of his comrades came rushing out of the house and started ambushing and attacking the ICE agent. They used a shovel or a broom to smash his face in, and so yes, that agent had to use self-defense and take up his weapon to protect his own life.”

Yet, mainstream coverage, including a CNN chyron that read: “Protests Erupt After Federal Agent Shoots Man In Minneapolis,” framed the event in a way that obscured the agent’s peril and the self-defense context.

Shame on Biased Reporters: Confronting Media Hypocrisy

The exchange grew heated when a reporter questioned the incident involving the tragic death of Renee Good, suggesting an ICE agent acted recklessly.

Leavitt fired back: “Oh, okay, so you’re a biased reporter with a left-wing opinion. … Do you have the numbers of how many American citizens were k*lled at the hands of illegal aliens who ICE is trying to remove from this country? I bet you don’t. Shame on you and the people of the media who have a crooked and biased view.”

She didn’t hold back, adding: “You’re a left-wing hack. You’re not a reporter. You’re posing in this room as a journalist… You and the people in the media who have such biases but fake like you’re a journalist — you shouldn’t even be sitting in that seat.”

This moment highlights a broader pattern: mainstream media outlets frequently amplify anti-enforcement angles while downplaying the risks agents face and the crimes committed by those they target. Leavitt emphasized that ICE agents are “simply trying to enforce the law,” yet the Democrat Party has demeaned them, even referring to them as “N*zis and as the Gestapo.”

She warned that such rhetoric is “absolutely leading to the violence we are seeing in the streets,” calling out elected officials for encouraging hostility toward “our brave men and women in law enforcement.”

A Call for Perspective: Bridging the Gap on Law Enforcement

To counter the echo chamber of biased coverage, Leavitt urged a dose of reality: “I would encourage everyone in this room, and I would encourage Gov. Walz and other Democrats who are demeaning law enforcement to sit down and have a cup of coffee with an ICE agent or a border patrol agent.”

She described these officers as “great, patriotic men and women who have families who put on the uniform every day and are following our nation’s immigration laws at the direction of their bosses, and again at the direction of the law.”

In an era where legacy media often prioritizes sensationalism over accuracy, Leavitt’s unfiltered pushback serves as a reminder of the double standards at play. While outlets rush to portray enforcement actions as excessive, they rarely highlight the full context of threats to agents or the victims of unchecked illegal immigration.
