Trump has gotten what he wanted. This is big.

And Iran just surrendered a gigantic asset thanks to Donald Trump.

President Donald Trump delivered a major victory for global commerce and American interests Friday by announcing that Iran has now fully opened the Strait of Hormuz to every commercial ship on the seas.

The commander in chief shared the good news straight from his Truth Social account, cutting through the usual diplomatic fog to let the world know exactly where things stand.

This breakthrough ties straight to the fresh ceasefire hammered out in Lebanon, proving once again that real pressure yields real results.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi stated on social media:

“In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran.”

The agreement between Israel and Lebanon took effect Thursday at 5 p.m. ET for an initial 10-day period.

It brings an end to more than a month of fierce combat that had roiled the region.

At the heart of the fighting stood the Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist organization.

But the overall result speaks for itself: a temporary truce on the ground paired with the Strait of Hormuz now open for business.

Ordinary Americans and businesses everywhere can breathe easier knowing these critical shipping lanes are no longer held hostage by Iranian games.

With Trump back at the helm, the United States is once again showing the world what strong, no-nonsense leadership looks like, putting American strength and security first while delivering tangible wins for peace and prosperity.
